Walking threw the door and putting away his bag the brunette began his usually schedule

He walked over into the kitchen but noticed food already made with a letter on the table

He picked up the letter and smiled

"Hey Lukey! I had to go get more groceries for my own food but yours is right here ready!!! -Zander"

He placed it down and gazed at the fish for a minute, Zander usually always made sure to make Luke vegan dishes

Once they were at a restaurant and Luke had found a piece of meat in his dish, Zander almost knocked out one of the chefs

Luke smiled at the memory but his smile soon faded as his breath became shaky

He gripped his chest as he took deep breaths trying to calm himself down..

"Luke? I'm home!"

hiding signs of him crying, he looked up to greet his loved one who had walked in

His boyfriend placed a kiss on his cheek and hugged him

"Did you like the food I made you?!"

Luke smiled seeing how happy he was

"Yes!! It was the best! Thank you! ♡"

After they had both cleaned up Zander lied down and stretched out in their bed yawning

He noticed Luke rubbing his arms looking a little nervous

He sat up "Lukey? Are you okay?"

He placed a hand on his back but was surprised when Luke flinched and put his arms up

Zander himself jumped a little

"Umm, uhh, I-I'm fine please...please don't   touch me..."

Zander nodded as they turned of their night stand lamps and dozed off

"Luke I'm-"

He walked inside but saw Luke..gone?

"He should be here by now, it's already 6pm!"

Zander pulled out his phone to text Luke

And to his surprise

What, what was going on, does this have something to do with how Luke was acting last night the more he thought about it the more he realized

Has Luke been acting like this for weeks and he just never noticed?!

But yet again last month they were as normal as any couple in their early twenties

But a lot can happen in a month

"9:04!! ITS PAST 9PM!! WHERE THE HELL IS HE-"

As on que Luke came threw the front door and sat down on the couch

Luke had bags under his eyes and looked tired and empty

His vision was slightly hazy but once he nodded Zander he smiled

"Zander, I'm glad your"

"Where the hell were you."

He looked down debating to tell him the truth but instead..

Silence

Zander felt his heart crack

"Damn, I thought we trusted each other"

"Do you wanna break up. Is that where you were? At your new partners house?!"

Zander accused as the brunette stood up

"W-What?! B-Baby no no it's not-"

"I'm leaving."

Zander made his way to the door but heard a small and soft thump, stopping immediately and shot his head around

He saw Luke on the floor his eyes looked red and watery, the tears making them seem clear

"P-Please..,D-Don't, Don't go...I-I would never dream o-of cheating on you I swear"

His face being cupped by Zanders hands

"So then what's going on."

Luke sat on their bed grabbing a nerby pillow for comfort

"So...y-you know how I told you, I moved offices and how I'd have a new b-boss?"

Zander nodded

"Well, m-my boss, s-she..."

...

"What did she do to you Luke."

He asked not a single hint of no anger in his voice

"I-I, I-I had to get paperwork so I bent down and..s-she....touched my..u-um.."

He paused and sobbed into the pillow

Zander had a look on his face that read he was about to kill that woman

"She did what."

Luke shook his head

"I-I told her to s-stop she a-always touches me in u-uncomfortable w-ways.."

Zander balled his fists in anger but stopped

Now wasn't the time to be angry

He hugged Luke after making sure he was comfortable with the action

"What did she say when I told her to stop?"

He sniffed into Zanders shoulder

"S-She said it was m-my fault for being so cute.."

"Tch, I'm going to kill the damn-"

He shook his head

"S-She told me not to t-tell a-anyone or she'd make it worse..im scared Zander.."

"Don't be"

Zander pulled Luke closer burying his face into Luke's shoulder

"If that b*tch is gonna hurt you she'll have to go threw ME first"

They both flopped onto the bed as Zander crawled on top of Luke sinking his head in his chest feeling each other's warmth

"Your safe with me, I'll protect you"
