#pov: two best friends finally make their relationship clear...
you've known sean for the past few years and you two were inseparable, but you have been dating for around 3 months. however, you both wanted to keep the relationship a secret between your friends but one thing about you and sean was that you couldn't keep secrets. and on multiple occasions you accidentally let it slip and they all knew there was something going on between the two of you.
one of those being today...
you were at a friends house, catching up with each other.
"babe can you pass me that pillow behind you please" you asked sean as he passed it towards you to hug.
"so you and sean are dating huh?" your friend f/n (friends name) smirked at the two of you, wiggling her eyebrows
"what?" you said, panicking and looking at sean
"we all know sean's your boyfriend" she laughed
"he's NOT my boyfriend!" you didn't know what to do
"i'm NOT her boyfriend-" he hit his hands on his legs "they just don't get it." he looked at you, widening his eyes
"no why would they??" all you could hear in your head was 'abort mission' "let's go babe" you grabbed sean's hand and was about to walk out when you froze and looked at him. he had the same panicked expression all over his face as he shook his head at you.
"guys i don't think they're dating, what do you think" f/n asked the rest of the group as they all bursted out laughing.
"y/n i think we should just tell them. they already know" he pulled your hand towards where he was sitting, motioning you to sit on his lap
"yeah ok.." you sat on his lap as he wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his head in your shoulder "uh so sean and i are dating.."
"how long" f/n asked
"around three months" sean mumbled in your shoulder
"sorry sean what was that"
"3 months" you said looking down
"well about time you both told us, we've known for so long" o/f/n (other friend) said
"how did you guys know?" you asked
"well for starters you both were always looking at each other, then keep calling each other babe and baby so we put two and two together-"
"plus we saw you both on a date by the ice cream place down the road when you both said you were busy to hang out" o/f/n smirked
"yeah we suck at keeping secrets" you said to sean and you laugh
