Spencer

As much as I wanted to stay in bed for the entire day, I couldn't. Spring break was officially over and I had to go back to school.

Because it was a Monday, I of course wanted to stay in bed for an extra hour. That means I was already late. I had to take the fastest shower of my life, throw on random clothes, and leave the house. To my luck though, I almost forgot to grab my backpack. I would have a mess during school if I had none of my things.

I had just gotten to school and noticed that Harry's truck was in the parking space next to where I usually parked. I grabbed my backpack from the passenger seat, unplugged my phone from the aux cord, and then got out of my car. As I was getting out, Harry noticed and did the same.

"You're late," he said when I walked over to him.

"Didn't want to get out of bed this morning," I sighed as we began walking towards the front entrance of the school.

"Did you stay up too late?" he asked as he held the door open for me.

"No, I went to bed when I usually do, but I didn't want to come here, I guess," I shrugged.

"I get it," he laughed as we walked towards my locker. "I don't really want to be here either,"

"You wanna ditch?" I asked as I opened my locker.

"I would love to, but my mom would be so mad with me,"

"That's your own problem," I said. "I could go home though, my parents won't know,"

"You're going to leave me at school while you go and relax at home?" he asked just as Aspyn came over to approach me.

"Spence!" she yelled. "I haven't seen you in a long time,"

"I've been busy," I shrugged as I pulled out my algebra textbook.

"I'm assuming with him," she nodded towards Harry, making him laugh. "You better be treating her right. Brynley and I will find where you live and it won't end well for you,"

"Aspyn!"

"What? I'm just making sure you get treated well,"

"We have to go to class," I said as I shut my locker before turning to Harry. "I'm sorry about her, but if you don't see me around lunchtime, you know where I went," I smiled.

"Then don't be surprised when I show up and break-in," he grinned before he left in the other direction to go to his locker.

"What the hell was that all about? Have you been hanging out with him the entire week?" Aspyn asked as we made our way to our first class.

"I was with him for a total of two days last week if you don't count the morning after those days," I said quietly in hopes she wouldn't question anything.

"You've spent the night with him twice?" she asked a bit too loud, making other people look at us. "Sorry," she whispered.

"He ended up spending the night on my birthday and then again on Saturday," I said as we sat down in our seats in the back of the classroom.

"I'm expecting more details later on," she said just before the teacher began talking.

It was now lunchtime and I was already burnt out. I didn't want to be at school anymore, but I knew I had to be. Because it was the first day back at school after having a week off, I knew that there were going to be a bunch of new assignments. I couldn't go home even if I desperately wanted to.

To my surprise, Aspyn and Brynley haven't bugged me all too much about everything that has been going on with Harry. They said they would have their endless questions during our lunch break. That's why I wasn't too thrilled about going to lunch as I usually was.
