An Angel's Heart:

Season 3 Episode 4: My Diary

We got out of the car and walked to the house.

"Hey. You ok?" Rebecca asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said and smiled at her.

"Smiling now huh?" she mocked me. I just held her close and kissed her forehead.

"Let's go make dinner or something. I'm starving.

"Well we picked up beef just now" she cheekily said to me.

"What? We did?" I asked. Not remembering that we stopped at all.

"You didn't actually think that a 2 hour drive would get at home at night did you? You were sleeping like a baby so I got us some huge beef patties." she told me.

"I guess I was too tired to care." I admitted.

"Yeah so let's get mister sloppy pants in the bathtub!" she said and started tickling me till we got into the bedroom and I tripped over the bed. She landed on me. She didn't say a word. Neither did I. Then I kissed her. She smiled back at me with a huge beautiful smile.

"You're beautiful, baby." I told her.

"Thanks. This is why I love you. For some reason no one wanted me. You had a girl. But you came along, and you even ditched her. I love you because you're responsible. But why? Why did you leave her?" she said.

"I can't say I left her. Here's what happened, I woke up and she wasn't there. Then someone knocked on the door, it was someone random, she then kissed me and Angel came in. But it was all a show so Angel could have an excuse to leave me. Also, because if she didn't some guy would break my leg." I said it all in mouthful.

"Wow. Well that's kinda dramatic. Oh well. Don't think just because we talked about stuff like this you don't have to take a bath!" she said.

"D'oh! I was trying to do that!" I said and gave her a grumpy face. She then kissed my face.

"Cmon. Let mommy give her baby a nice warm bath." she added and pulled me up. We took a bath together then lay in the tub staring at the ceiling. At some point she fell asleep. For me, I was just wondering about what happened to Angel. I got out of the bathtub and Rebecca lay sleeping inside. I washed up and went back to the car to unpack some things before I saw that Angel's old favorite bag was on the car. I must taken it from my dorm while I was leaving a few weeks back. I opened it and saw pictures. Many many pictures of us. Then I saw an album. It contained many pictures with comments on sticky notes pasted on the picture itself. That's so Angel. I sprinted upstairs with the bag and chucked in under my bed. Then I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Very late dinner it would be tonight. It was already 8 o'clock, not to mention the uncooked patties. With minutes the fire was going and the patties were burning hot. Then Rebecca came down. She hugged me from behind and kissed my cheek.

"Wow. I thought you'd need another hour." I joked about her.

"You're evil! I don't even sleep that long!" she protested.

"Ya do!"

"Do not!"

"Yaaa doooo!"

"When have I ever?"

"Um. Ok you got me." I said and she smiled. We sat down and put the patties on the plates.

"Are you ready to meet my parents tomorrow?" I asked her.

"Absolutely. I was thinking of a speech but I dropped it. I don't know what to wear, the white little dress or that formal.." she said but I stopped her.

"You are beautiful. Nothing you wear is going to change that." I said and kissed her cheek.

"Aww. That's so sweet baby" she said and hugged me.

"I still think I should wear something decent looking." she added.

"Just put on a tank with jeans." I said and smiled at her.

"Ok then. I hope they'll approve of me being your girlfriend." she said, worried.

"Relax, all my exes were sluts of sorts. They were always dressed with bulging cleavages and minis. I half think that a tank with jeans is indecent. Besides, you're nothing like them." I told her.

"Oh well. If you say so!" she chuckled and we ate. We spent the rest of the night talking about this. What to do, how to act etc. I hoped they would accept her though. As much as I said they would, I wasn't sure.
