An Angel's Heart:

Season 2 Episode 6: Valentine

I spent that night outside the dorm. Outside some random 7-11. I was in some random top and boxers, broke and locked out. All I had were sticks and fire. I lit one up and took a deep breath.

I did a lot of thinking during the entire time. Then something in me cracked. I wasn't that sure if it was something to do with Eugene, but my mind was piecing things together now.

A while later,

I opened my eyes to water dripping onto my hair. I looked up and saw that it was drizzling, so I stood up and started rushing to the closest shelter I could find. I couldn't go into the 7-11 because I had already been chased out twice.

Then I saw someone waving to me. I ran towards that person. As I closed in, she shouted to me:

"Come on! Quick!".

I ran to her and she put a jacket over me while she got wet herself. I felt touched in a way but I wondered why she was doing this. She led to a car and she let me in. Then she drove towards northern Coomera.

On the way,

I looked at her beautiful blonde haired face. She looked sad. So I asked her:

"Hey, where are we going?".

"To my house" she said quickly, obviously shy.

"Why are you doing this? I mean, do I even know you?" I asked her another question.

"Let's just say that I felt like helping someone ok?" she said.

"No shit." I said, not believing her.

"Okok! I believe in fortune tellers in Chinatown. Fair enough?" she said looking at me. Clearly not minding the street.

"Fair enough." I mumbled. "Thanks." I added softly. She didn't say anything for a while so I asked:

"So, like, what's your name?".

"My name is Rebecca Valentine." she said. I was surprised. Never heard someone going by the last name of valentine. We had quite a long talk before we arrived at her house. It was a big bungalow and it looked like she lives there alone. Then there was a party a few blocks down. I went to take a look and saw loads of people from my school. Guess what? I saw Angel kissing Eugene. Thank you lord.
