An Angel's Heart:

Season 3 Episode 1: My Goodbye II

Angel:

I opened my eyes to see people waking up. I looked out of the window and saw the sunlight. Yep it was time to get up. Voices raced in my head, questioning my hasty decision.

"Miss, would you like anything to drink?" someone asked.

"No. Thanks" I forced a smile at him. He was just doing his job, no need to take it out on him. I decided to just close my eyes for a while. I'm not going to get myself a meal or anything anyway. So I checked my phone. No messages. Wow Mom and Dad I really mean that much to you? Grace you too? Oh well. I guess it'd be good to go somewhere else where no one knows me. But I saw someone smiling at me. Some nice looking guy. I wiped the beads of water named tears off my face and tucked my head into my jacket. I closed my eyes and counted till I fell asleep.

Tyler:

Now someone was poking me. Jesus Fucking Christ can't I just fucking sleep in peace? Then I opened my eyes.

"Hey sweetie. Are you ok?" Rebecca asked me.

"Yeah. I'm fine" I said. Eyes swollen. I felt pathetic.

"I'd say you didn't get her then huh?" she smiled at me and wrapped her arms around me.

"No. I didn't." I said and shivered. God she felt so warm.

"I love you." I said and embraced a shocked Rebecca. But she smiled.

"I love you too.". We stayed that way for a while. Just arms locked.

Angel:

"Are you ok? Miss?" I heard a voice say. I pulled my jacket off.

"Oh. Yeah I'm fine." I said.

"Do you need someone to talk to?"

"No I'm fine. But thank you. A lot. I guess I needed that much."

"John Harvey. Teen counsellor. Cmon. Let's talk after the flight." he said and handed me a slip of paper. Damn he was licensed. Damn he was good.

"But you don't know me. You don't have to care."

"Don't be silly. It's my job." he said with a beautiful smile. He then reached out his hand and like some mind controller I reached out too. It felt good to interact with someone else now.

Tyler:

"Cmon. Let's go home." Rebecca said to me.

"Ok." I said and stood up. I then stared at the gate. I didn't want to move. I knew if I left I may never come back again. But still. We all have to move on. I loved Angel but I guess it's over now. I wished her the best of luck.

"Goodbye Angel." I whispered.
