The Adventure

[The monsters have to win a race around the world for 100,000 euros.]

Dracula and Mavis were packing up for their trip to America. "Did we get everything?" Dracula asked. "Don't forget your socks Papa Drac." Dennis chuckled. "I also bought you guys a book about America." Ericka smiled. "Now why do I feel like we forgot something...?" Mavis muttered, Eunice suddenly came along. "Me!" Eunice whimpered. "What do you mean Eunice?" Dracula dropped.

"I just want to see the glory of America... The glory of New York City, all of those theme parks in Florida, and the Grand Canyon in Arkansas." Eunice stated. "I'm pretty sure the Grand Canyon is in Arizona and not Arkansas, Eunice." Johnny corrected. "Gosh, I don't even know which state the Grand Canyon is in! This could be my chance to learn!" Eunice added. "Aunt Eunice, now is not the time..." Mavis sighed.

"Who'll be helping Ericka watch over the hotel?" Frank asked, the monsters heard crashing coming from outside. "Ugh, did it have to be my sisters?" Wanda moaned along with the monsters grumbling. "I'm sorry everyone, they're the only people Mavis and I trust." Dracula exhaled. [A few moments later] "We'll take good care of the hotel Drac!" Wenda chuckled as Dracula and Mavis went into the hearse, Eunice zoomed right inside with them. "AUNT EUNICE!" Mavis yelled, Eunice whimpered and walked away.

"Don't worry Eunice, one day we'll all be able to go as a family." Winda sighed, trying to cheer Eunice up. [The next night] The monsters were at the mall. "I want to go to Paris, I haven't been there since I was a pup." Wayne stated. Meanwhile... Two humans named Jason and Sabrina were talking.

"We have to think of something to do." Jason muttered, he suddenly noticed the monsters talking. "That's it!" Jason chuckled, he walked towards the monsters. "Would you guys like to compete in a race around the world in a hot air balloon?" Jason asked. "I've always wanted to be in a hot air balloon! What's the prize for the winning team though?" Murray questioned. "A 100,000 euros." Jason stated, the monsters gasped and dropped their jaws.

"100,000 euros? That's about five times as much as Papa Drac has!" Dennis gasped. "But there's one problem... How are Wenda and Winda going to let us go?" Crystal whimpered. "I have just the idea." Eunice smirked. [A few hours later] It was daytime and Eunice called Dracula. "Huh? What is it Eunice?" Dracula asked all tired and annoyed.

Eunice pressed the record button on her phone. "Drac, who's helping Ericka watch over the hotel?" Eunice chuckled. "Uh, Wenda and Winda?" Dracula muttered in confusion. "What's my name and who are your family and friends?" Eunice questioned. "Eunice, Wanda, Crystal, Ericka, Mumette, Winnie, Sunny, Frank, Wayne, Griffin, Quasimodo, Murray, Dennis, and Johnny..." Dracula grumbled. "This is so stupid..." Wanda exhaled. [A few moments later]

"Now since I have the recording of the phone call, all we need to do is edit it in the tape and we're off to the world!" Eunice cheered. [A few hours later] The monsters were having breakfast, Eunice was whispering to Mumette about the tape. "You know the plan!" Eunice ordered, Mumette got Eunice's phone and tape machine and called Wenda on the phone as she picked it up.

"Hold up, it's Drac." Wenda stated, Mumette started the tape. "Hello Wenda and Winda, I need Eunice, Wanda, Cry-dusk argh key-" The tape machine got cut off because the tape got all messed up as Mumette shivered in fear. "This is going to be harder than I thought." Mumette whimpered, Eunice began to sweat a little.

[A few moments later] Mumette was all tired from fixing the tape and sighed in complete relief. "Hello Wenda and Winda, I need Eunice, Wanda, Crystal, Ericka, Mumette, Winnie, Sunny, Frank, Wayne, Griffin, Quasimodo, Murray, Dennis, and Johnny to go somewhere." The tape machine finished. "Could ya say that again Drac?" Wenda asked, Eunice groaned completely in annoyance. [A few moments later] The monsters were at some mansion and were surprised about it.

"These people are really rich!" Griffin gasped. "The prize was 100,000 euros, what do ya expect?" Johnny smirked. "I feel kinda weird for tricky Aunty Wenda, Dennis..." Winnie muttered, Dennis just sighed towards Winnie. "It's called guilt Winnie..." Dennis sighed.

"Oh! You must be our competitors!" Jason smiled, the monsters decided their teams already. "Is there anything we need to be cautious of?" Murray questioned. "I heard on the news there is a terrible storm in the direction you're going, there's another way you could use, but it'll take a little longer." Ericka explained. "Just ignore Ericka, Murray... She just wants us to lose the race!" Wayne grumbled.

"Remember what the prize is!" Sabrina laughed. "A 100,000 thousand euros..." Wayne and Eunice sighed in awe, the monsters began to start their hot air balloons, they had trouble controlling them though. "Watch out for the fountain Aunty Ericka!" Winnie shivered as Jacob slapped his head.
