"If I had left you in bed, you'd be missing out on this mystery..." Dracula sighed, Wanda began to shiver with fear. "So does that mean Wellington could be real?" Wanda asked worried. "I'm not sure, the griever's mark is used by Wellington worshippers. They commit mischievous acts, saying they are doing Wellington's bidding." Ericka added. "I've heard they attack innocent humans and monsters and blame it on the ghost. From what I've read, the grievers may be telling the truth." Abraham stated. [The next night] The monsters were trying to think of a trap. "How about a lava trap?" Eunice suggested. "Eunice, if it's a human or werewolf or mummy or stein or like etcetera, etcetera.... They would get hurt." Quasimodo warned. "Quasi's right, maybe a water trap would be more safer." Dracula added.

[One hour later] Everyone just decided to go to bed, but there was some eerie scream. [The next night] Wanda and Griffin were taking together. "Good morning Griff, did you hear that eerie scream last night?" Wanda questioned. "No, it was probably you imagining or you having a nightmare." Griffin sighed, but Dennis suddenly came along. "Papa Drac needs you at Mommy and Daddy's room, Aunty Wanda and Uncle Griffin." Dennis stated. "Oh no, was that where that scream came from?" Wanda shivered. "I don't know, we should and check to see if they're okay." Griffin whimpered. [A few moments later] "What happened?" Frank asked worried. "We were grieved while we were sleepin'!" Mavis muttered. "If I were a vampire or monster, I'd-" Johnny was suddenly cut off by Dracula.

"Calm down Johnathan, it was just a little Halloween mischief." Dracula sighed. "Everyone grab a pair of shears, so we can clean up this mess." Wayne stated. [A few moments later] "Whoa." Everyone gasped. "It would take hundreds of spiders to do this in one night, maybe even thousands or millions." Eunice dropped. "I don't think spiders would get an idea to do all of this, even on the scariest night of the year." Wanda added. "Yep, this was definitely the work of a griever or a group of grievers." Crystal added. "You really didn't écouter a thing?" Quasimodo gasped in French. "We slept through the whole thing!" Mavis stated. "Yea, Daddy is a pretty loud snorer & sleeper, so we wear earplugs every night." Dennis informed, Johnny did a little whimper towards the other monsters.

"But why did the griever pick us?" Johnny whimpered. "Um, maybe because you three keep your door unlocked and can sleep through anything." Murray grumbled, as if Johnny was being dumb. "Well, all I can say that the griever or grievers have to be around Walden's age." Wanda stated. "Me and Murray can plan a sand trap." Mumette stated. [A few hours later] "Must stay up, one more hour then it's Mumette's turn." Murray sighed, there was a sudden thump. "AHHH!" The griever screamed. "Gotcha!" Murray chuckled. [A few moments later] "Uncle Murray and Aunty Mumette! You caught her!" Winnie smiled. "Yup, red-handed in fact." Mumette chuckled, she was holding the hand of a werewolf named Jessica. "What's your name young lady?" Wanda growled with total anger.

"J-Jessica... Jessi or Jess for short, I was just trying to be funny... I wasn't trying to hurt or scare anyone." Jessica whimpered. "Okay, you should know better for your pre-teenage age." Murray sighed towards Jessica, the other monsters dropped their jaws. "Drac, you're not going to transform or use your powers on her at all?" Griffin dropped. "It's just a 10 or 11 or 12 year old werewolf pup." Dracula exhaled. "I'm 11 years old, I have a 13 year old brother and a 15 year old sister... They did most of the grieving and forced me to do so." Jessica added. "Well, it seems like the hotel needs to be cleaned outside a little." Crystal muttered. [A few moments later] The monsters were outside of the hotel, Ericka noticed that Jessica had some sort of diamond shears. "Hey, who gave that to you?" Ericka asked curiously.

"Oh, my sister and brothers made it for me." Jessica stated. [A few moments later] "Good job cleaning up everyone." Dracula smiled, but it started to smell like smoke for some reason. "What's that smell?" Johnny dropped. "HELP!!!" Ginger yelled in the distance. "It's Ms. Frankenginger and that tree is on fire!" Winnie stated. "For the last time! It is G-I-N-G-E-R!" Ginger growled. [A few moments later] Wanda, Crystal, Ericka, Eunice, and Mumette climbed a tree. "How are we supposed to get there?" Wanda asked. "I still have lots of string from earlier, can we use it for something?" Crystal added, she made a rope to the other tree as the girls walked on it. "How do you keep getting into these situations?" Eunice shivered. "I was cutting leaves for soup, until the tree caught on fire." Ginger sighed.

"Any idea who could've done it?" Mumette questioned. "I saw two black-hooded werewolves, but I'm not sure if they put the tree on fire or not." Ginger added. "Well, we probably should get off of this tree before we get barbecued!" Wanda warned. [A few moments later] "Maybe you should just buy soup mixes at the grocery store, all right Ginger?" Ericka nervously suggested, Ginger just did a mutter. "Wait, what's Jessica doing here?" Ginger asked, the monsters did gasps of shock. "You know this pup? Why didn't you tell us she was part of the grieving?" Wayne dropped. "I never knew she was part of the grieving." Ginger stated. "By the way Jessi.... You were pretty useful back there, is there anything else you have?" Frank asked curiously. "Ok." Jessica smiled, taking tons of supplies and armor out of a bag.

"Gee, with all of these gold, iron, and diamond supplies and armor, it would've have been easier to defeat the Kraken." Mavis dropped. "You faced the Kraken?" Ginger questioned in surprise. "Uh... No... I'm just saying if we had it and faced the Kraken anytime it would help." Mavis nervously lied. "Pfft? Mavis? She'd be screaming if she saw the real Kraken, I bet she couldn't even spend a second in the cave of the bat crones." Jessica smirked. "What? I've faced a whole swarm of at crones before, plus you're just a pre-teen." Mavis muttered. "This diamond axe could be pretty useful for other people Jessi, you could help others instead of just grieving them." Frank stated. "I do use it to help people, it's just that grieving is more fun..." Jessica chuckled, the monsters just did grumbles and mutters towards Jessica.

"My Halloween party was supposed to bring people together and have fun, but your grieving ended the fun before it even started." Quasimodo growled. "What Quasi? I just made it more memorable, at least my sister made me a diamond and golden sword for me. Plus your faces when the lights came back on at the party, hah!" Jessica added. "Sister.... Jessi has a diamond and golden sword?" Eunice muttered. "I told ya she's spoiled, she doesn't even use iron stuff." Ginger sighed. "JESSICA WINSTON! WAS THIS YOUR DOING?" A werewolf named Whitney growled, there were two werewolves named Wynn and Waverley with black hoods, they had sympathetic faces. "No Mom! Honest! Right Ginger?" Jessica whimpered, Ginger just did a mutter towards Jessica. She did an exhale and looked towards Whitney.

"Nope, she's been grieving this hotel. Was that all I needed to tell you Mrs. Winston." Ginger growled. "Well, she did help us clean up. Plus, I think her older siblings should be the ones apologizing." Dracula added. "What? I'm only 13! Waverley did all of this!" Wynn growled. "I think all of your kids should be badly punished." Murray suggested. "All right. Jessica, grounded for one week." Whitney sighed. "Yes ma'am." Jessica exhaled. "Okay, Wynn and Waverley. What you two did was very mischievous and irresponsible, and you two showed a very bad example for Jessica. You two are grounded until you can show me that you'll change." Whitney stated. "Wait! Jessica did apologize to us, maybe you could limit her grounding to a day or two?" Dennis suggested, Whitney did a smile.

"I'll think about it, but I'm sorry what my teenagers did to your poor family Dracula!" Whitney whimpered. "It's okay Mrs. Winston." Dracula smiled. "So you two are the ones who've causing trouble here." Ericka growled. "Quiet down human." Waverley grumbled. "Well, your parents did a great job catching the both of you." Wanda added, the monsters went back to their normal selves.
