The Power's Out

[The monsters have to deal with no power for the night after it goes out during a storm.]

Frank and Eunice were watching tv, it was raining hard outside. "Are you sure the power won't go out Frank?" Eunice asked worried. "It probably won't, lets just watch our tv show, all right?" Frank smiled. [One hour later] A lightning bolt suddenly struck the internet disk that was on the hotel, all of the lights went out. "WHAT? IS IT ANOTHER GRIEVING?" Eunice shivered. "No, I'm afraid the power went out Eunice." Frank whimpered. [A few moments later] "What happened?" Wanda yawned in her yellow onesie as she wiped her eyes. "The power went out!" Dracula stated. "Well, I don't think it knocked out internet either." Johnny chuckled, but his phone couldn't connect. "It's just buffering..." Mavis sighed, Murray did a sudden scream. "WHAT? I can't live like this!" Murray whimpered.

He grabbed onto Wayne hardly. "Gosh Murray, it's just without power and internet for a night." Wayne muttered. "I don't mean only no phones and tv... No air conditioning, no fridges, no microwaves, anything that needs electricity isn't going to work!" Murray warned, the monsters did screams of horror. "GET ANY FOOD THAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE HEATED UP!" Quasimodo yelped. [A few moments later] All the monsters got were chips and cold beans. "We have to find something more proper than this, all I have is Sunny's baby food." Wanda exhaled. "Wow Wanda, we never knew mushed peas and celery would taste good." Eunice smiled, her and Mumette were eating the baby food. "WHAT? WHY WOULD YOU LET THEM EAT BABY FOOD?" Griffin yelped towards Wayne in concern.

"It's made out of vegetables, so I knew it was healthy." Wayne stated. "Monsters are so unaware..." Johnny mumbled. "It's s-starting to g-get cold i-in here..." Crystal shivered. "Don't worry, we're making a heater." Abraham sighed. "Where did you get that thing?" Dracula asked concerned. "From th' roof, we know how much money it costs." Ericka informed, Frank just did a grumble. "Oh my, this wouldn't have happened if Wanda hadn't suggested to put the internet disk 'outside' in the first place!" Frank growled. "My fault? How else would it connect to the satellite if it was inside? Plus, Johnny shouldn't have suggested the whole internet disk thing." Wanda grumbled. "Come on Aunty Wanda and Uncle Frank, Daddy was just trying to adapt the hotel in the 21st century." Dennis sighed.

"Guys, let's just say it's everyone's fault. We should have put the internet disk in a place where it wouldn't get hit by lightning." Mavis muttered in annoyance, Mumette suddenly felt a drop of water as she finished eating the baby food. "What? Did one of the werewolf pups spit on me?" Mumette asked angrily, the werewolf pups shook their heads no. "I felt a drop of water too." Eunice added, everyone looked up. "What can two simple little leaks do?" Griffin nervously chuckled, trying to calm everyone down. "Is the roof going to bust?" Wanda shivered as she bit her nails. "All right, all right... Mavis and I will go to Wenda and Winda's apartment, while the rest of you stay here." Dracula informed. [A few moments later] "Your power's out?" Winda asked. "Yes, we were just asking if you could fix it." Mavis stated.

"We will... Our power's out as well, luckily our internet isn't." Wenda added. [A few moments later] *Vicious music plays in background* The monsters were trying their best to make sure nothing wouldn't bust, a hearse suddenly came crashing towards the monsters. "WATCH OUT AUNTY WANDA!" Dennis yelped, but it was too late. *Music stops playing in background* [A few moments later] Little yellow scraps of Wanda's onesie was on the ground. "Frank? Murray? GAH! Oh... Wanda...." Crystal whimpered, noticing Wanda's collar and the yellow scraps on the ground. *Sad tune plays in background* "Crystal?" Wayne called out, all wet and dirty. "W-We always l-loved to d-drive in h-hearses together... Now a hearse has sadly driven on her..." Eunice sighed in defeat.

Wayne did a sniffle and picked up a yellow scarp gently."Shes w-was the f-first ever w-werewolf girl I-I've ever f-flirted with... S-Speak to m-me Cup-wolves..." Wayne stammered. "Did we actually lose Mommy?" Winnie shivered, starting to cry a little. "Hey, has anyone seen the scraps of my onesie?" Wanda questioned with her onesie ripped up. "WANDA!" Wayne screamed in delight as he cried. "Okay, okay, okay hon... I'm not dead, I wasn't crushed by a hearse, I'm absolutely fine. That's hard enough of a hug by the way-" Wanda dropped. "Thank heavens god was watching over you Wanda... We wouldn't want the sweetest werewolf to pass away." Griffin stated. "Gosh everyone, maybe this time we really are doomed..." Murray added. "Doomed! DOOMED! DOOMED!!!" Frank cried into the night.

He hugged Eunice as he was shedding tears. "SNAP OUT OF IT FRANKENSTEIN! I bet Wanda's sisters know how to fix all of this." Eunice muttered. *Music stops playing in background* "If they don't get here in time and the hotel floods, how else are we going to live?" Johnny questioned. "Let's stay positive guys, my sister had a 15.5 in her engineering class." Wanda informed. [A few moments later] "I'll fix the drainage issue and the internet disk." Winda chuckled. "Your sister is a lawnmower, an engineer, and a drainage contractor?" Abraham dropped in surprise. "I told ya she got a 15.5 in her engineering class, that's about 10 straight A's." Wanda stated. [The next night] "Finally, the power's back on." Dracula smiled.
