Chapter Twenty Nine

A white ceiling welcome her as she open her eyes. Naramdaman nya agad ang pagahawak ni Allen sa kamay nya.

"Hey my wife,"

"Nasan ako?"

"You're at the clinic. You passed out earlier."

Sinubukan nyang alalahanin ang nangyari, nanlamig sya at padarang na inagaw iyong kamay nya sa pagkakahawak ni Allen. Doon bumalatay ang sakit.

"Ahh!"

"Damn, just stay still."

Mabilis ang biglang paghawak nya sa tiyan nya. She's actually feeling it.

"The baby is okay."

Nabunutan sya ng tinik dahil sa narinig.

"You didn't tell me you were pregnant, Aliana."

"Para san pa? Tama nga si Papa, you manipulated all of us."

Bumuntong hininga si Allen at naupo sa harapan nya.

"Look at me and let me explain."

Aliana bit her lower lip while looking at Allen.

"Yes, I did try to manipulate your father but I back out. I didn't want to do it because when I saw you, I was eaten by my guilt. You were so pure, Aliana. My father wanted you to be a bait for your father and we'll manipulated them but plan changed, your father actually offer you to be wed by me because of your company. Pumayag ako para makuha ang ilang porsyento ng kompanya nyo at maipagsundo ang pinaplano namin ni Albert."

"You still manipulated my father."

"I did not. Ayoko lang nang may babangga sa ginagawa ko."

"Gaano ka ka-walanghiya, Allen?"

"You wouldn't want to know." Allen stared at her eyes. "Everything was according to our plan but then you happened. You became sweet for one reason. And that is to know my real identity. I tried avoiding it but you made me fall, Aliana. Eventhough I signed the annulment papers, your life is at risk."

"My father wanted your family to go down because I lost my mom in that ambush. It was supposed to be your mom but my mom sacrifice everything. Galit ako sa tatay mo, pero alam ko hindi matutuwa ang mommy ko kapag nalaman nyang gumanti ako. I told my father to stop everything but he won't. That's why I kept you to myself then, Aliana. I'm sorry for thinking that way."

Hindi alam ni Aliana ang dapat sabihin. Nang dahil sa pamilya nya, nawalan ng nanay si Allen.

"I'm sorry for your mom, Allen." Mahina nyang sabi.

"It's okay. You're not at fault baby." Allen squeezed her hand. "Can we stop with that topic, hmmm?"

Marahas na lumunok si Aliana at umiwas ng tingin. Pinakiramdaman nya ang tiyan nya.

"When did you found out that you are pregnant?"

Kumurap sya sa tinanong ni Allen. There's an amusement beaming in his eyes.

"K-kahapon." She even choked.

Allen nodded. "Nagpa-check up ka na ba?"

Umiling lang sya at gumalaw. Napaigik sya sa sakit na nadama sa braso nya.

"Bakit may bumaril kanina?"

"Those were my father's men. I warn them na kapag nasaktan ka pa, ako na mismo makakalaban ng Papa ko."

"Allen, Papa mo iyon."

"He can't just harm you, lalo na't buntis ka. Sa tingin mo ba papayag akong masaktan ka? Dadaan muna sila sa kamay ko bago ang lahat."
