High School Dilemma

"I WILL"

The girls had just started to enjoy the game when their male counterparts swaggered into sight.

"Can't these men mind their business just for once?" Chioma asked aloud, her face distorting into a feigned frown as they approach.

Most of the girls took the expression on her face as the real thing as they glared at the boys likewise.

"What are you guys doing here?" Naomi asked, not directing the question to anyone in particular immediately the guys got to their spot.

"Well, it's obvious isn't?" Tony chuckled, "we intend to join you guys"

As soon as those words left Tony's mouth, there was an immediate uproar.

The girls stared at the guys in fury with every one of them insisting that they all leave immediately.

"Can't you guys see we are having some private time together?" Chioma demanded, "Don't you guys understand what the term privacy means?"

'Well, you had give credit to whom credit was due', David thought has he silently smiled at Chioma's performance, something even Genevieve Nnaji would have been proud of.

"We come in peace and we promise to be of good behaviour" David soothed with a smile.

"I doubt that" Naomi argued

"We just want to hang out with you guys in peace" David pleaded

"This is the first time I've seen you guys begging to hang out with us" Vivian replied with a chuckle, "And now I'm quite sure you guys are up to something"

The girls nodded in affirmation.

David eyed Chioma for help.

Chioma got the signal and immediately called for the noise to die down.

She cleared her throat and addressed everyone,

"Well since the boys has promised to be of a good behaviour, we can let them join us"

Almost everyone looked at Chioma in surprise.

Chioma was the last person that would ever allow the guys interfere in any gathering she was spearheading, but today, they were actually witnessing history.

"Are you sure?" Naomi asked looking sceptical.

"Yes I am" Chioma replied with a smile, "and since they are here we could change the game rules to fit them"

The girls almost couldn't believe their ears; David nodded in gratitude as the boys sat round, the girls themselves finally backed down after much assurance from Chioma.

The game took a different turn, Chioma had insisted that questions were increased to five, and the boys all took turns before the girls continued.

Well this didn't go down well with the boys, but they had no choice, it was either they meekly played the game or leave.

Elvis was the first boy to be summoned to the circle of judgement.

"So how many girls have you dated?" Naomi asked, starting the questioning.

After Elvis was done, Tony took the floor and then, after him, Chioma 'forced' David to the middle.

"How many of us are asking David questions?" Vivian asked with naked excitement.

Almost everyone had their hands in the air, so Chioma nominated five of them that could ask the questions.

Vivian, Naomi, Samson, Elvis and Chioma herself were the ones that were chosen.
