part 8

"Soooo, the top 3 students are.. Bakugou, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu." Kirisima explains. We're sitting by the bar, just me and Kirishima, and of course Kurogiri on the other side of the counter.
"So he did make it into UA.. and didn't get expelled yet?" Knowing who I mean Kirishima nods.
"Strangely, yes. And god he's an asshole. He yells at everything and and everyone." I crack a smile.
"So nothing out of the ordinary?" Kirishima also smiles.
"I guess not. Anyway, I think it's best to go for one of them. Seeing they have good quirks and from what I've heard, especially Todoroki is only in the hero course because of his dad, Bakugou is most likely to effectively fight back and Yaoyorozu kinda has low self-esteem issues. She thinks she needs someone to help her most of the time, so if we get her somewhere alone, she'll be an easier target." I take notes while he keeps talking about the three top students.
"Hey Kid." I hear Dabi say from behind me, I turn around and see him entering the bar area.
"What's up?"
"What're the plans for the upcoming attack?" I look at my notes, which include the whole attack plan.
"We fall in at night when everyone is supposed to be asleep, Kirishima isn't and stays awake until we're there, when we arrive you start with setting one of the buildings, or tents depending on how they're staying there, on fire, once everyone evacuated the others fall in." I explain, both Dabi and Kirishima nod understanding.
"What about the others?" Kirishima asks.
"What about them?"
"What are they gonna do?" I think about it for a moment.
"Distract the other students, make it look like we aren't focusing on these three students." Dabi nods. Kishima looks at my notebook for a moment.
"Hey Midoriya?"
"Yeah?" I turn to face him.
"Should I keep up the act of a student? I don't think I should expose myself this early." I shake my head, he was right, if he did expose himself, the league wouldn't have any incoming information on UA or All-Might's whereabouts.
"You're right. Keep up the act for now.." I tell him. Kirishima nods and checks the time.
"Shit- I have to go-" He stumbles over his bag, which he had leaning against the bar. He quickly picks it up and leaves.
I think Shigaraki noticed me looking at the door with a tin of sadness in my eyes, I liked talking to Kirishima. For some reason I hated it when he wasn't in the room.

"He's going to school dimwit. Why don't you go pick him up when he's done later today." I look at him. Then I look back at my notes, it would be good for me to get out without an illegal reason. When it was just me and Dabi either one: we were moving, two: I was stealing something for him, whether that was food, money, or staples, I was stealing. Or three, I was staying at the motel watching TV. Despite now being considered a criminal, I still enjoyed watching heroes. Though I do notice a lot more flaws in their behavior. Like Midnight being overly sexual, even towards younger audiences.

"I'd like that." I say smiling. Shigaraki nods.
"Why are you really here?" He asks after a few minutes of silence. I look back at the TV, which is playing an old clip of some old hero saving a whole town, years after that it came to the public that this same hero had r@ped 3 young girls and 4 boys all around the ages of 13 to 19.
"I wanted to become a hero. So that's what I'm doing." I say without thinking about it.
"What?"
"I'm being my own hero. By the way, this is way more fun.. I guess I like the kick.. also heroes suck." I say, gesturing to the tv screen.
"Fair.. what do you mean by "I like the kick"?" That first time I stole something for Dabi. I could feel my heart going haywire all the way up in my throat. Sweat building up on my skin. That's what I liked I guess. I wasn't really scared of getting caught, I was more nervous about doing something illegal. I'm over that part now. 2 months of that kick made it exciting to try more daring things, like Dabi teaching me to shoot a gun. I still refused to shoot someone at that time, I'm not planning on killing a person. Right now.

"Feeling my heart going in my throat, just doing something exciting. It makes me feel good." I explain. Shigaraki just nods.

"Hey Kid." I turn around and see Dabi entering the bar area once again.
"Yeah what's up?" He sits down on the stool next to me. During the last two months he kept calling me his younger brother.
"Can I get a beer?" He asked Kurogiri before addressing me again.
"About this plan for the attack.." he puts a hand on my notebook.
"What about it?" I ask, pulling my notebook away from him, when it was just us two he always took it when I wasn't around.
"We don't know if there will be a place for us to hide. How are we gonna do it if they're staying in tents on a grass field?" Is he testing me??
"We look for the closest small town near that field and stay there until later that night." I say sharply.
"Alright. I'll trust that you'll find us a place to stay." He tells me.
"Thank you. Is there anything else?" He shakes his head, finishes his beer and leaves the room again.

"Hey Shigaraki.. why did you trust me with this?" I turn around to face Shigaraki, he's sitting on the very much broken couch.
"You said you wanted to be usefull. You're welcome." He groans.
"Thanks.. I guess.." I mutter before also going to my room, I had to get ready to pick up Kirishima.
