part 55

"Jeez that's annoying.." So are you right now. The caissière hadn't been wrong, he was kind of annoying, mostly because I have to be careful not to get caught when I'm commiting arson so someone's house. I take out my phone and text him something.
"Sorry to ask but can you leave for a moment, I'd rather not get caught while commiting arson." She looks at me for a second but then nods sadly. I'm really sorry man..
"Can I come over later?" I nod and text him that I'll text him when I get back. With that he leaves and eventually I see that he starts running away, probably to his house. And finally there's silence.

I arrive at the person's house, it took a while to find it and I realize it's already getting dark. Which is a good thing seeing there won't be any people out anymore, the person who the house belongs to is old and Midoriya had told me that he's unmarried and doesn't have any kids. So unless they're there to kill the guy nobody has a reason to be even around the place. I start by placing paper balls all around the wooden parts of the building to encourage the fire and once that's done I start lockpicking the front door, this takes me a while seeing it's an old house, which means an old lock. When I do succeed in picking the lock I slowly open the door and leave some paper and cotton balls over the hardwood floor and already turn on the stove, all to encourage the fire later. I see an old safe with an easy lock, I also see a code on the whiteboard on the wall.

Midoriya had said the old guy had dementia and wrote down things to remember them. I unlock the safe and take the money inside, stuffing it in my pocket as I look around to see if there's more. then I go upstairs and carefully put a sleeping pil in the man's glass of water, and before closing the door behind me I drop a marble on the floor, making a noise loud enough to wake the man up. I keep looking through the keyhole as the man looks around for a moment, takes a short sip of water and goes back to sleep. He'll be asleep for a while, which gives me enough time to fulfil the rest of my task. I finish spreading around newspapers and cotton balls and realize the stove is already overheating. Old stove brings 'problems' but not for me. mostly for the poor guy I'm assassinating.

I finish preparing by throwing around the alcohol outside on the porch and around the house.
It would be easier to do if Dabi was here seeing he's literally a human torch sometimes but oh well, I'll have to get by with just a lighter, kinda sad I'm loosing it because of this, I'll have to buy a new one soon.. Oh well, it's not my money I'm spending (Sorry Midoriya, Aizawa and Kirishima but y'all are rich and I need money)
I light the lighter and trop in a small puddle in front of me. I quickly realize I'm standing on grass, which is also lighting on fire and start running the opposite way. when I'm far enough I turn around with a satisfied smile. This is always so pretty to watch, I've always liked fire.
"Hey pyromaniac, this your work?" I turn around at a semi-familiar voice, it's one of the lesser known members of the league, I've seen them only very few times because they stopped living with the league right after I arrived. I think their name is Mustard. I nod and they take off the gas mask they'd been wearing. I take off my own mask and light a cigarette.
"You're killing yourself with that y'know.. Can I have one as well?" I crack a smile and hand them one and my old lighter, maybe I should've sacrificed that one in stead but ok.
"Thanks, you're Deku's kid right?" I nod slowly, a lot of people refer to me like that because I introduce myself as 'Elias Midoriya'. Most people that don't know I'm a villain assume I'm Inko Midoriya's late cousin or something like that. Inko Midoriya being the boss's mom, would make her my grandma.
"Cool, I heard you're mute?" Again I nod. Not bothering to look away from the fire. we kept 'chatting' for a while, for as far you can call me nodding and gesturing 'chatting', I check the time and realize it's already ten PM and I promised Azarel to hang out. I wave Mustard goodbye and start making my way back to more around the base, Midoriya usually didn't care if I stayed out later, as long as I came back before three AM he was fine with whatever time I returned.

On my way I text Azarel that I'm done and waiting for her at a park right next to the building concealing the hideout. after a few minutes he texted me back.
"Finally.. I was already asleep asshole, why did it take you so long?" I think for a moment, it would be pretty embarrassing to say I couldn't find the place even though it wasn't even that far enough from the store where I was earlier that day.
"There were some complications, sorry" I text back after a while. It had taken me longer then expected to respond.

After almost half an hour I finally see Azarel's pink hair approaching the bench I'm sitting on. His hair makes him very obvious even in the badly lit park.
"Hey, sorry it took so long to get here, I had to convince my brother to let me go out at this hour." I shrug it off and gesture for him to follow me.
"What are we doing?" I look at him blankly. "Right.." He mutters apologetically.

(Azarel's POV)

"So what're we doing?" I ask, I get a blank look back. Why do I still forget about that? "Right-" I mutter apologetically. I did like it when he looked at me, his attention made me happier than it should maybe because of his eyes, the wine red color fits him a lot. I catch myself staring and quickly shift my attention to my surroundings. which did help a bit. after a while we reach a small hill. I just now noticed we weren't in the same park anymore, we're outside the city and walking through woods. He leads me up the hill and sits down upon reaching the top. It's a small edge he's sitting on. On the other side of the edge was some kind of ravine. I look down. It's quite familiar but can't really place how. that's when I see Elias grab his phone. after typing for a while he shows me the note.

"Midoriya took me here once, apparently the last LOV hideout stood here, before heroes attacked and broke it all down.. It's also where Deku became more known to the public." Now that I looked at it, it wasn't a ravine, it was a huge crater. It looked cool in my opinion. though it also wasn't the safest spot to be.
"Should we really be here? What if someone sees us?" Elias deletes the last note and types something else in.
"Nobody lives here anymore, All for One released some kind of toxic fumes before getting arrested, don't worry it's not here anymore but most people still think it is so they don't come here." I look around once more. We're sitting on a small edge that's keeping us from falling into the crater, if we did fall it would be a pain to get out probably.
"Who's that than?" I point at a blue haired girl walking around the crater aimlessly. She seems to be searching for something. Elias also looks at it, more surprised then anything. He makes the gesture for I don't know.
"Let's go check it out." I mutter as I carefully let myself slide down to the bottom of the hole. I land with a small thud, obviously startling the girl. I look up at Elias, who roll their eyes but follow me. They also land on the ground this time not with a thud but with rattling, coming from his gun and knives.
"Ehm.. excuse me miss, are you ok?" I ask after brushing myself off, I start making my way to the girl but stop when I realize Elias isn't following. The woman isn't looking at me either, she's staring at Elias, tears forming in her eyes.
"Heh!?" (Yes like Technoblade's 'heh' because I said so).

"Elia?"
