part 66

The following days Elias was at the Doctor's place for recovery, for 3 days he was unstable and had to be under the Doctor's watch the whole time. I refused to leave until Keigo called me demanding I'd come home. I did explain things to Rin, who luckily didn't tell anyone, in exchange for a lot of money, Deku payed it easily. Rich bastard.
After I left Keigo had to force me to school because I refused to go until Elias was better. After a week El still hadn't woken up. Now I really started to worry, also because Deku refused to tell me how they were doing.

(Deku's POV)

I stayed by Elias until Eijiro returned from UA, just like every weekend he brought mini-Hawks and this time also that blond girl, Rin. Elias still hadn't woken up after a week and I told the Doctor to call me the moment they were awake.
"Love, we have to go." Eijiro pulled me away from Elias's bed, I hadn't really slept while I was there. I think it was obvious.
When we entered the living room Dabi looked at me once and knew it wasn't going any better. So did Azarel.
"Can I go see him?.." She muttered. I just nod and order Kurogiri to re-open the warp gate.
"Giran." Giran enters the room upon hearing his name.
"Boss?"
"Find out as much about those people as possible and report back to me or Eijiro." Giran nods and leaves again.
"Why?" Eijiro asks. "I left that white haired bitch alive, his whole family is dead so I thought I'd let him live in his misery. Though I feel like he's gonna come After Elias again, it'll be good to know more about who he is." I explain. Eijiro nods, but stops when he thinks of something else.
"Can't you just ask El?" I shake my head.
"It'd be cruel to ask that of him, and either way the last time he saw that man he was like 12 or 13." With that I leave the house to pick up Eri from school.

On the way to the school building I pass by Shinsou, Aizawa's kid.
"Hey Deku, what's going on?" I look at him for a second, it's been a while since I saw him last.
"Hey Shinsou, nothing much just my son almost dying." I state before continuing my way. With that answer he started sprinting to the hideout.

I reached the school and patiently waited until the bell rang. Most kids ran past me, looking at me wide-eyed, some quickly run to their parents pointing at me. I crack a smile at the different reactions. That is until Eri's teachers makes his way to me, closely followed by a bruised Eri.
"Are you Eri's parent?" I nod as she runs to me.
"And you're her teacher, what happened?" I ask crouching down in front of her.
"Someone said that the villain Deku should die in place of the people he hurt.. so I hit him, then he hit me and I hurt him with siccors." Eri whispers to me.
"Your daughter stabbed a student in both his arms while I was absent." I crack a smile, but quickly try to hide it.
"Great job Kid." I whisper before standing up.
"Did you just tell her 'good job'? That is very inapropiote to say to your own child over stabbing someone."
"You're Monoma right? I'm sure you've met my other son, and his friends, one of them being your sister. I'd like you to explain why you're keeping me here because my daughter was fighting someone that said somebody deserved to die, over me going back to my almost dying son. I'm sure Rin said something about that." The blond turns pale and waves us away. Rin for the rest hadn't gotten physically hurt as far as I know, she did bare the mental scars. I pity the girl, she obviously had no idea that a group of villains was going to come help her, and of course she observed how Elias got that badly.. hurt.

We make our way back to the hideout before Monoma can stop us.
"How is Elias doing?! Is he ok now?" I just look at her, which apparently is enough for her to confirm that it's not going any better.
"Azarel is already at the Doctor's, do you wanna go there too?" Eri nods frantically.
"I'll call him." I need a checkup for myself anyway, and it wouldn't hurt to go there.

And so after a few minutes we enter the room where Elias is kept, as expected he's still not awake. Azarel is crying again, he's been crying a lot while he's here.
"D-deku, I'm sorry do you want me to leave?" I shake my head, I can see what Elias sees in him, he's a caring Kid who knows when something's wrong or when he needs to shut up.
"No you're fine, Eri just wanted to come here." Right as I say it Eri runs to the bed and peaks over the edge, she's just too short to properly see.
The Doctor enters after a few minutes and gestures for me to follow him.

"We have to cut his hair, there's clogged up blood tangled in it and it would only hurt to even try brushing or washing that out." I shake my head, Azarel had told me about their reasoning for keeping his hair long. I wasn't going to cut it without asking for his opinion. I'm not that cruel.
"No. When he wakes up we can ask but I'm not going to do it without his permission" I state before entering the room once again. The Doctor follows, I know he's right. The blood in Elias's hair is quite obvious and I know it would only hurt to wash it out, but we can try, if it stains that'll also eventually fade.
"Mini-Hawks, can I talk to you?" Azarel looks up, nods and stands up.
I tell her about what the Doctor told me and as expected he also shakes his head, refusing to do it.
"It loves it's hair. And has a reason for keeping it the way it is. Until he gives his own opinion on it I won't let it get touched." I nod and open the door as sign for him to enter the room again. To my surprise Elias is slowly getting up, looking around. Azarel runs to talk to them.
