chapter 69

When I knock on Azarel's door I hear some shuffling before the door opens.
Azarel rubs his eyes and looks down at me sheepishly.
"What's up?" He asks. He'd obviously been crying.
I push him out of the way and sit down at his desk chair, grabbing my whiteboard on the way in.
"What was that about?" I write down hesitantly. He hesitates as well and sits down on the bed.
"It's nothing important, don't worry." He mutters. Why does he always leave me out of his problems?

(Deku's POV)

The day already began horrible. Coffee machine broken and Eijiro at UA. Just great.
"Shigaraki." Shiggy enters the bar upon hearing his name.
"What?" He groans, obviously just as annoyed as me.
"Where's Dabi?" He hesitates, looking around confused.
"He's not here? Probably went out for food or something." I roll my eyes and text him.

(Boss): "Hey staples, where the fuck are you?"

(Dabi): "I'm getting breakfast calm down bitch."

I roll my eyes. This ass needs to loose his attitude.

(Boss): "next time tell someone where you're going. And bring me a coffee"

With that I put down my phone and turn on the news.
"American local villain gets transfered from American prison to Tartarus for extra security. More information will come tonight once the transfer is completed."
It grabs my attention as the tv shows a picture of this new villain.

That's just a fucking child. Probably didn't have another choice but to do what they did.
I call Giran here and tell him to get more info about a particular villain.
"..who?" I had frozen the tv screen displaying the picture.
"Some American 'villain'. Just a child, they're gonna be brought to Tartarus." I explain as I put on my coat.
"Alright." Giran mutters, leaving the room again.

I quickly call Aizawa for any information about this transfer.
"What do you need?" He asks cautiously. It's unusual for me to call him.
"Have you heard about this American villain transfer?" I immediately. He tells me that he doesn't know much about him.
"Why?" His tone still cautious.
"It's just a fucking child." I groan before hanging up the phone and making my way to the closest buss stop.
Every once in a while there's tours around the prison. luckily for me, This was one of those days.
"One ticket to Tartarus please." I tell the driver, of course I was wearing my mask and it should be impossible to recognize me seeing I don't look anything like the picture they show of me on the news.
"Alright." The driver's groans, gesturing for me to sit down. There's not that many people on the bus. There's a few highschool girls sitting in the back and two men somewhere in the middle. I sit down in the front, right behind the driver seat.
A few stops later, a hero enters, this hero being Hawks.
He greets the driver and sits down in the seat next to me. Instinctively I put my hand in my pocket, resting on the helt of my gun.
"Morning." Hawks hums. Bitch. I don't say anything in return and just keep scrolling on my phone, until I come to the page with a little more information about the prison transfer.
"The new villain is known as Ghost, based off their quirk.
They were arrested 2 years ago for theft and murder."
Of course they don't mention his age. I sigh and scroll further, until a see the page about me.
"You interested in villains huh?" Hawks asks from behind me, I glance at him slightly before reading the news page.
"Still no sign of famous villain Deku. Multiple sightings of the villains Dabi and Toga have been reported but their Boss stays missing." Hawks sighs and takes out his own phone, opening his texts and I catch a small glimpse of the name of the person he's texting.

(Dabi)

(Bird man): "Hey. When do you want to meet up again?" (Seen)

(Dabi): "when you decide to take things srriously and not show up absolutely wasted I might think about it." (Seen)

I crack a smile under my mask, before closing the news page. Hawks glances at my phone at the movement, obviously seeing the red riot background.
"Fan of his?" He asks.
"Something like that." I mutter, hoping he doesn't recognize my voice. Hawks chuckles but luckily doesn't say more until we're almost there.
"You're going to Tartarus?" I nod shortly, pulling my beany over my hair.
"Me too." He says as he starts talking about the transfer.
I don't react at all and he stops talking.
"Not very talkative huh? I can work with that." I'm gonna throw up soon.

To my surprise Eijiro texts me when we're 2 stops away from Tartarus, stating that he's on his way as well, to 'help with the transfer'.. Definitely not to sabotage it.. nope, Definitely not.
I crack a smile and text back that I'm almost there.
"Hey man, could I have a picture with you? To make my husband jealous?" I ask, careful to stay somewhat quiet and not to use my own voice.
"Sure." Hawks smiles and I take a picture of us.
I swear I'm gonna throw uppppp.
"Thanks man."

(B.C.)

(Boss): "look who I'm with: *picture*

(B.C.): "Cool. Make sure to me careful though."

(Boss): "you worry too much Eijiro."

(B.C.): "Bye Love."

Hawks is looking over my shoulder curiously, smiling at the texts.
"Seems like a good husband." He states. And you seem like a rapist but I'm not commenting on that either. Now will you shut up. Luckily for me we arrive at Tartarus.
If I get caught here I'm in big trouble. Eijiro sees me exit the bus and starts making his way to me.
"Hey love." He mutters, glaring at Haswks, who exited after me.
"Red Riot."
"Hawks." Was all they said to each other before parking ways. Eijiro guiding me me around as if I'm just another tourist.

"It was risky to stay in the same bus as him." He states when we're out of Hawks's hearing distance.
"I know, but it would be more susicious if I exited the bus earlier but still end up in Tartarus." I explain. That's when a black van approaches the island.
"There they are." Eijiro states. I follow him to the parking lot, staying a bit behind, with the other tourists who are curiously gathering around the bus.
