We arrive at the address and there's already a man waiting for us outside.
"Your invite please." I look the man over and hand him the paper. He looks at me, slightly fear showing in his eyes as he swallows, bows slightly and opens the door.
"Welcome young sir." He mutters, his voice quite a lot higher then before. Eijiro takes my arm as we enter, as told it was quite fancy inside.
The first person to approach us is who I suspect is the one who organized all this. He looks me and Eijiro over a few times until is dawns on him who I am. Definitely not the most wanted villain in whole Japan, nah couldn't be me. I think sarcastically.
"Welcome yound sir." He greets me, only giving Eijiro a firm nod.
"Glad to be here, though it's a shame we were informed of the event only two days before it started." I tell him. He quickly introduces himself as: Hioma Latter.
"Deku." I state the obvious. Notifying that the man doesn't seem to mind the complaint.
"Eiji." Eijiro stated, obviously he wasn't going to use his full name seeing everyone still thought he was a hero, and we were gonna keep it that way even though it's gross how he has to act all nice and all.
"Welcome." Hioma says again. He shows us around and I quickly notice people staring at us, I recognize some of them as villains I'd seen on the news.
"Ehm- if it isn't a bother we would like to check for any weapons, for safety purposes." I nod, hoping my lie about my piercings will work.
They check my.coat and luckily don't find the hidden pocket concealing my gun. Then they get metal detector and as expected it detects four things, one being my dick piercing and the other three being the knifes.
"Do you have any weapons on you sir?" Hioma asks. I shake my head.
"No, it's probably detecting my piercings." I answer quickly. They check Eijiro but also don't find anything.
"Very well." Hioma says after the guard left. Luckily he didn't question why i had piercings on my thighs.
"Please, pick a table and enjoy while we wait for other guests." Hioma advices. I nod and sit down at the nearest table.
"He's really that stupid." Eijiro whispers smiling. I just nod, watching guests enter. I look up when I see Stain enter the room, he looks grumpy and weird in a suit.
"Stain's here." I mutter.
"What?" Eijiro looks over frowning. He sees us sitting and walks towards us. He sits down, still with a grumpy look in his eyes.
"They took my blades." He grumbles. I crack a smile, obviously not telling him about the fact that I have like 4 weapons on me.
"Since when do you wear suits?" I ask, it's not the newest suit, probably stole it from someone.
"Since it's required." Stain answers. Fair enough.
"I didn't think someone like you would come to such an event." I state.
"I didn't think someone like him would be allowed at such an event." He spits back, looking at Eijiro.
"He's not a hero, so he's allowed. What's the issue?" I ask, he's not gonna pull the ex-hero student card here.. is he?
"That's enough you two." Eijiro groans, probably just as annoyed as I am.
"Shouldn't you go say hi to other guests, I'm sure you got inflicted with some of them before." I tell Stain. He looks me over once more but then stands up and walks away.
"Asshole.". Eijiro groans. I nod in agreement. A young looking girl who definitely doesn't meet the age requirements walks towards us, shyly holding a notebook up to her chest. She looks at me and for a split second I see a five year old Midoriya, going up to every hero he can find to get their signature. I shake that thought out of my head as the girl tries frantically to get my attention.
"Do you need something?" I ask. The girl blushes slightly and holds up her notebook, there's a short text written down.
"Could I please get your signature, you're really cool!" She looks at me with the kind of puppy eyes that Eri always sets up when asking for something she knows she shouldn't ask for.
I look around, scanning the crowd, looking for the girls parents, when I don't see anyone I take the notebook and a pen out of my pocket, weird that they let me keep that, you can definitely kill someone with a pen. The girl's face practically starts glowing when I hand her the notebook back, now with my signature underneath the text she (or her parent) had already written down.
"Well that was something new. I'm sure you're not used to being called "cool"." I shrug. Mostly conflicted because I saw myself for a second, well, that part of myself who I wasn't anymore.
"Yeah.." at that moment everyone turns to the podium in the middle of the room.
"Welcome everyone." Hioma's voice says. I also look over, just barely able to see him over the crowd.
"I'm glad we could all make it. We managed to get some pretty famous villains today." 'Managed to get' jeez I'm starting to trust this less and less. Hioma looks at me with and nervous smile.
"If I'm not wrong you all were checked on weapons." Some people nod. I suppress a yawn and just keep listening.
"This is boring." Eijiro whispers, I nod in agreement.
"Let's just hear him out. Maybe he actually has something interesting to say." I whisper back.
"Now. Before we officially start this party I'd like to call Deku over." I sit up when all eyes turn to me. Oh great attention. I hate it. Hioma just smiles, not very welcoming, as I stand up. One hand on my gun and the other already reaching for one of the daggers.
"What do you want? I don't like attention." I state, and yes I'm aware that everyone can hear me.
"We like to go over every new villains kill count before starting, today you're new. What's your kill count sir." I groan silently but answer, a smile tugging at my lips when everyone turns pale. Not expecting the number 258. Soon to be 259 if this asshole doesn't stop bothering me. Hioma turns pale and when he speaks again his voice is quite a lot higher.
"W-we'll keep that in mind sir. Please take a seat again." I nod, now smiling and sit down again. The people around me giving me enough space, no one seems to even want to get close to me, understandable.
"You shouldn't be happy about that." Eijiro states, I just shrug.
"Why not? It's a pretty good accomplishment."
"Love. Killing people isn't an accomplishment." I sit down.
"Not to you, but if you realize that I did it in less then three years, and claimed I would never kill a person."
