It was such a rainy day, and Ashwin and Sivaangi were stuck inside the car. It had been almost a year after CWC season 2 had finished and it had been 1 year and 5 months since Ashwin fell in love with Sivaangi. He still hadn't told her. Everytime he wanted to, he felt like it wasn't the right time.
For him, Sivaangi was like the rain on lonely days. She managed to make him feel better with a blink of an eye. He found it extremely difficult to encompass the extent of love for her in words. "I love you" didn't seem like enough. For them, new words and phrases higher than that had to be created. Sivaangi was his home, his definition of love, his final destination.
"Sivaangi.." he started. Sivaangi hummed in response, typing something on her phone.
"Sivaangi ma.."
"Sollu ma..," Sivaangi said looking up from her phone.

Ashwin looked into her eyes and said, "Unnaku love na enna?"

The rain was hitting hard against the window, Sivaangi was snuggled against the leather seats of his car, an ARR song was playing on the radio. He couldn't ask for a more perfect situation.
"Enna namburiya?"
Sivaangi felt butterflies erupt in her stomach as he said that. He always said the most simple things in such a way where she fell in love more with every second.
"Yen kekaringa?"
"Sollu, enna namburiya?"
Sivaangi smiled, "With my life."
Ashwin felt his heart skip a beat and he said, "Ippadiya pesi enna kovuthudu."
Sivaangi giggled, "Yen kettinga?"
Ashwin took her hand in his hands, lacing her fingers through his. "Is this okay?".
The butterflies in her stomach fluttered faster, "Yes."
Ashwin was silent for a while, admiring their entwined hands. "Ippadiya un kai ah pudichitu irukanaum."
God, he was killing her. Ashwin looked up at her, and he couldn't find a difference between her eyes and the raindrops falling outside.
"Sivaangi.."
Sivaangi hummed in response.
"I love you."
Sivaangi looked at him in shock, she opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.
"Ennaku verenna solrathu nu therila. I just really love you. Avalothan. Unna thaandi, atha thaandi ennala yosika mudiyala. Naanum ithu sollanum athi sollanum nu yosichen, aana unna paathathuku aparam ellam kathula paranthuchu. Ennaku nee venum, ipadi," he lifted their entwined hands, "Ipadi iruntha ennaku pothum, vera ethuvum vendam."
Sivaangi felt like she was in the air, flying. She wasn't expecting this at all. She always thought he looked at her as a friend and nothing more.
"Ennaku enna solrathu nu therila," she said truthfully.
Ashwin shook his head, "Ethuvum solla vendam, vaarthaigal ah thaandi naraiya method iruku."
Sivaangi blushed profusely and laughed, "Enna method?".
Ashwin brought their joint hands up and kissed the back of her hand. "Ithu oru method," he said. Sivaangi's breath hitched, this was all so new to her. Just a day ago, she was hoping this would happen and today it actually happened.
He leaned forward and placed a kiss on her cheek, "Innum oru method." Another kiss on the other cheek, "Innum oru method." One on the tip of her nose, "One more." He hovered above her lips, and Sivaangi felt the whole world melt away to the shadows.
Feeling too bashed, she pushed Ashwin off of her, with a bright red face. "Innum evalo method vechurkinga?
Ashwin smiled teasingly, "Athellam nariya iruku. Poga poga katruen."
Sivaangi laughed and it was music to his ears. He wanted to hear it for the rest of his life.
"Sivaangi?"
Sivaangi hummed, still blushing wildly.
"I love you so much," he spoke with all of his heart.
Sivaangi smiled, bliss covering her head to toe, "I love you more."
"Impossible."
"Yen appadi solringa?," Sivaangi asked.
"Because I love you more than love itself."
