and i've just let these little things slip out of my mouth
cause it's you, oh, it's you

and I'm in love with you
and all these little things--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sivaangi loved going out. Especially with her friends. So when her long-time best friend Tarunya called her out for a girl's day out, she couldn't refuse. She also got a break from her ever-active and hyper child, Dhruv. With her husband out for promotions for his new movie and dropping Dhruv at his beloved grandmother's place, she set off to have a much-needed me time.
Tarunya grinned at her when they stopped infront of the local mall. Sivaang smiled, "Enna nama etho teenagers mathiri inga kootitu vanthurka."
Tarunya clicked her tongue in disappointment, "We used to hang out here every Saturday, remember?"
Sivaangi smiled fondly, "How could I forget?"
The girls giggled and walked inside, reminiscing every corner before they wounded infront of H&M. Tarunya turned towards her with a glint in her eyes. Sivaangi shook her head, "No, if we go inside adutha 4 hours ku anga than irupom."
Tarunya shook her off dismissively before dragging her inside. Inside was shiny clothes held against racks and mannequins dressed up with vivid clothing. Sivaangi scouted the vicinity warily. She liked shopping but she had reservations, insecurities that popped up out of nowhere.
Tarunya held up a shimmery purple top and said, "You would look so good in this." Sivaangi smiled at her and shook her head. She didn't like flashy things. As Tarunya went around multiple aisles, Sivaangi let her eyes glaze over everything before landing on a beige top that cinched at the waist before flaring out. She found it cute and beckoned over Tarunya as they walked over to it. Sivaangi held it up against her body and twirled around lightly making Tarunya giggle.
A saleswoman nearby spotted them and smiled warmly at Sivaangi, "H! That's a great top, but I don't think it would fit you."
Sivaangi stopped in her tracks and blinked rapidly. She couldn't process it for a moment. She glanced at the top and back at the woman, "What do you mean?"
The lady tilted her head, "That's an L size top you're holding, I think we should fit you with an XL."
Sivaangi glanced back at the topic. She was L-sized almost 6 months ago. Sure, having a baby and growing older could definitely make you put on some weight but her rational mind didn't think of that. All she could think of right now is that she had become fat. She visualized herself in the top and she could see how her not-so-flat tummy or her arms could be seen in them. Tarunya nudged her breaking her out of her trance.
"Huh?" Sivaangi blinked. She looked back at the saleswoman, "No it's fine, I wasnt getting it."
She walked out of the store before she would start overthinking more and cry. Tarunya rushed after her and hollered her name,
"Sivaangi, enna achu?"
Sivaangi shook her head and looked away. Tarunya sighed, understanding what she was thinking about. "Seriously, athu pathi ah yosikara? Sivaangi, it's been barely 6 months since you've given birth. Go easy on yourself."
When Sivaangi didn't respond, she said. "You don't even look like you've gained weight."
Sivaangi looked at her sharply, "Appo how did she find out I needed a bigger size?"
"Because she sells clothes, that's her job."
Sivaangi shook her head as if she didn't believe it and Tarunya said, "Fine you know what? Ennaku pasikuthu, let's get something to eat."
