"Dude, are you coming or not?"
Arjun looked up from his phone to see his friend Sanjay lean against the doorframe. He groaned and leaned against the bed,
"Why should I come again?"
"Because it's freshers and hot girls would be there."
Arjun glared at him and rummaged through his drawer and took out a stray cigarette before lighting it up. He inhaled the nicotine, puffs of smoke coming out of his mouth. He got up and shrugged on his black leather jacket before stalking out the door.
"I don't know why you drag me along everytime you wanna get laid," he grumbled under his breath and went out of the door, tripping on some huge box.
He hissed slightly as the cardboard tore through his ankle.
He looked down at the box and scanned the address, "Fuck dude, why do they keep messing up the deliveries? This says 304, not 305."
He glanced towards his neighbour, 304. He knocked on the door frustratedly. A few moments later it swung open and Arjun bursted,
"Listen, I get you're new here but you really gotta stop messing up our address-"
He stopped mid-sentence when he saw the woman in front of him. She was considerably short, and had wavy black hair. She wore a pastel pink shirt which was tucked into cream coloured slacks. An apologetic smile appeared on her face,
"I'm so sorry! I put in the right address but somehow they messed it up. I'm really sorry."
Arjun furrowed his eyebrows. For some reason, he was put off by her innocent demeanor and pure eyes. Did he feel guilty?
He cleared his throat, "Whatever. Just make sure it doesn't happen again."
The girl nodded diligently and her eyes flickered to his ankle. She gasped,
"You're bleeding!"
He looked down, "It's fine, it's not much."
She shook her head, "Was it because of the box? God, I'm so sorry. Please come in, I'll clean it up."
Arjun shook his head, "Er, no. I'm fine, it's alright."
She looked into his eyes, blinking rapidly. "I insist, please."
Fuck her eyes, he thought. How could he say no to them?
He looked back at Sanjay who was watching the whole exchange silently. He said,
"You go. I'll be down in the car," and with that, left not before giving Arjun a curious look.
He walked into her house silently. It was neat, decorated in pastels and light colours. He looked down at his clothes. Full black, Biker leather jacket, graphic tee and black pants, with tattoos all around his arms. He looked so out of place there, but he didn't feel so.
The woman walked up, her kitten heels pounding softly against the wooden floor. "Just sit on the couch, I'll bring the first aid kit."
Arjun chose to sir on the bar stool that was placed infront of the kitchen counter. She emerged from the kitchen holding a small box. She kneeled down in front of him and Arjun tugged on his black boots.
