Game On (Amphibia Marcy x Reader)

The Prophecy Keeper

(True Colors Spoiler ahead) 

(A/N I have no idea what that mysterious thing under the castle is called or what it does so I'm going to make up something that's going to fit my story and none of it is canon) 

((Y/n)'s POV) 

I was woken up by the sun but I wasn't complaining because it was morning and we get to look through the journal. I get out of bed and change into my clothes. I grab Marcy's hair clip and put it in my hair. I exit the Fwagon and go to the house. I walk into the front door and find Anne sitting on the couch with the journal closed on the table in front of her. 

"Morning Anne" 

"Morning (Y/n), Sasha's coming a bit then we can look at the journal"  Anne had a blank expression on her face. I sit on the couch next to her and face her. 

"Anne, are you mad?" She looks taken aback 

"Mad? about what?" 

"Marcy? I realized that you have been so focused on saving her and I don't blame you we all have but...I know you probably have feelings about what happened and what she did" 

Anne sighs "I'm not mad. Marcy got us trapped in Amphibia on purpose. I missed my parents my life. She left you and that doesn't sit right with me. Before Amphibia...before you started dating Marcy when we first met you told us you had never made friends. You weren't happy but once we started hanging out more you came out of your shell and when you started dating Marcy you were so happy. On my birthday when Marcy got us trapped in Amphibia she hurt my parents, she hurt you." 

"Anne" I grabbed her hand "You are my best friend...I may have had some issues but I'm okay, sure when you guys were gone I had a hard time but think of how happy I was when I heard you were back...People do stupid things take Sasha she's changing for the better but she's still herself. Marcy made an irrational decision because she didn't want to be separated. It's ok to be mad you have a right to be upset but if a person is genuinely trying to make it better you can't stay mad forever." 

"Well, what about you what are your thoughts?" 

"I could never hate or be mad at her, do I wish she would have come to me or you or Sasha and talked about it yes. Was I upset that left me? Was the worrying if she was alive or not, or the nightmares about it being my fault that I wasn't there tearing me apart from the inside." I can feel myself tearing up "Or the thoughts that we won't be able to save her and I lose the person I love the most? I was upset but I'm more scared and hurting" I wipe my eyes with the palm of my hands."...but what does any of that matt-" Anne hugs me cutting me off. 

"(Y/n) it's not your fault none of this is...I know you think it is but it's not" I hug her back and cry into her shoulder. It takes a few minutes for me to calm down. I wipe my eyes one more time before breaking the hug. 

We sit in silence until there is a knock at the door. "I'll get it" I get up and open the door and It's Sasha. "Morning Sash" 

"Morning (Y/n)" She walks into the house. "Morning Anne" 

"Morning Sash" 

Sasha and Anne sit on the couch and I sit on the floor leaning against the table. I grab the journal and look for the page I found yesterday and hand the book to Anne. Sasha looks over Anne's shoulder. 

Anne begins to read "The Prophecy keeper...According to King Andrias, the Prophecy keeper was created over a thousand years ago when a prophecy was discovered. It was made to that the prophecy was sure to come true. There are different elements to this prophecy, The heart, The Strenght, The Intelligence, and the pawn. If one of the elements isn't able to fulfill its part of the Prophecy then the keeper takes over and posses them in order if fulfill their part."

"That must be what happed to Marcy" Sasha stated, "but is there anything about what the prophecy is?" 

Anne flipped through the journal and stoped on a page "The king once ruled but he was fooled and the music box was stolen. One day he will regain power when The Heart, The Strength, and The Intelligence give the box back. The king will once again come to power and invade the other lands but if the elements and the pawn come together and fight against the king they can take him down. The pawn will fall but peace among the lands will be restored."

"Does that mean Marcy is the pawn?" Sasha asked 

"I don't think so because why would the Prophecy Keeper  take over her body if she was support to fall?" I said but now I'm kind of worried because that means somebody going to die if the Prophecy is coming true.

"Now that we know what we are dealing with maybe Maddie will know something," Anne says 

"That's a great idea Anne and I will go and talk to Maddie"

I nod and Sasha and Anne go to talk to Marcy. I sit on the couch and scroll through my phone. 

-Time skip- 

I hear yelling outside and I look through the window and it's Sasha and Anne. 

"What do you mean stop we can't give up on her" Sasha yelled  

"It's too dangerous" Anne yelled back 

"But she's our best friend" 

"Sasha look this is just as hard as it is for me then it is for you but we can't risk anybody else getting hurt" 

"What about (Y/n)?" Sasha's voice softens 

Anne sighs, "All handle it ok"

The two walks into the house and I quickly put my phone and headphones in like a didn't see or hear what they just said. 

"Listen (Y/n) we have some bad news, so it turns out that The Prophecy Keeper is really dangerous and I think it too risky...I think we have to go back the earth like Marcy wanted where we are safe and nobody else can get hurt" 

"Oh ok then, I-I'm going to go back to the Fwagon now and lay down I'm pretty tired and it's late," I say as I exit the house and go to the Fwagon. 

-Time Skip-

It's about midnight now and Sasha and Anne are asleep. I sneak into the house and grab Marcy's journal and go back outside. 

I go to the stable and find Joe. He looks at me as I walk to him "Do you know where Marcy is?" he nods. I hop on the wooden saddle "Take me to her" 

Joe takes off and as we are flying through the air I take out the picture of Marcy and me "I'm not breaking my promise. I will save you if it's the last thing I do" 

(King Andrias's POV) 

"Is it in place?" I ask as Marcy comes up behind me. 

"yes the journal is in place and I believe the Pawn is on its way here" 

"Excellent we'll be ready for her"
