Epilogue

((Y/n)'s POV)

Marcy and I are currently in Sasha's apartment packing Marcy's things. Neither of us has much so it's easy to get everything into a few bags.

"Hey (Y/n), let's do one more thing before we leave okay?" Marcy said to me as I packed the last bag.

"Oh ok, what did you have in mind?"

"You'll see" Marcy then grabs her bag and puts it on. She grabs my hand and pulls me out of Sasha's apartment.

"Oh, you meant now" Marcy giggles and continues pulling me down the street to the bus stop.

Eventually, the bus comes and we get on. After we ride for a while Marcy tells me to close my eyes, I do.

After another five minutes, the bus stops and Marcy guides me off the bus and we walk for a few more minutes.

Then we come to a stop. "Okay so I know for a first anniversary I was under the king's control. And our second wasn't much better but it may not be the anniversary of when we started dating but it is the third anniversary of when we first met so uhh you can open your eye's"

I slowly open my eyes and see that we are at the zoo where I meet Marcy all that time ago. "Oh my gosh"

I look at Marcy and she looks nervous. The same look she had when we went on our first date. I grab Marcy's hands "I love it Marcy and happy Anniversary" I hug her.

We walk inside the zoo and look at all the animals. Well, we avoided the snakes because we both agreed we don't want to see the snakes or any other amphibians.

After a while, we decided we would go get some food then go back to the apartment. As we walk out of the zoo we walk past my old house. I stop someone is sitting on the front porch. I recognized him almost immediately. It was my father. I grabbed Marcy's hand and start walking faster but alas life hates me at the moment for my father got up and walked towards us.

"(Y/n)?" I heard him say. I freeze causing Marcy to freeze too. I turn around and come face to face with him. Marcy turns around too and she stands protectively in front of me.

"(Y/n) I can't believe your alive" he takes a step forward and I instinctively took a step back. He stopped moving and sighed. "Look I know I never was the best father but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for everything"

"What happened to mother? I thought you guys moved?"

"Well uhh she did move away and ended up getting I divorce because I wanted to stay here just in case you ever came back"

"Well uhh I'm not going to be here for long"

"Regardless I'm happy your safe. I've been worried, oh and (Y/n) who's your friend?" He pointed at Marcy.

"Oh well this is Marcy and she is my awesome girlfriend"

"Oh, that wonderful I'm glad you found someone, and Marcy keep her safe for me?" I see Marcy nod.

"Father, it may take some time for me to accept your apology but this is a start, and if I'm ever back in town I'll try to visit"

"Okay (Y/n) I look forward to it"

"Well we best be going bye...dad" Marcy and I start to walk away. My father heads back to the house.

After we walk for a while in silence Marcy finally breaks it. "So (Y/n) that's your dad?"

"Yeah but he is different, I don't know how to explain it. Before I ever left he always seemed like he never paid any attention to me but just now it seemed like he actually cares. It's kind of nice"
