Lumine POV:
When I woke up, it wasn't at home, in my bedroom, like I should be. It was in a chair in some old factory kind of place, and chains bound my hand and feet. Xingqiu was on the chair beside me, and standing in front of us were three people. A short purple haired guy, a silver haired woman and . . . Childe.
"Seems like you have woken up. How delightful." the woman spoke. She inched closer to me, and I instinctively pulled away from her, as much as I could.
"Why did you bring us here?" I asked, trying to stop myself from trembling. "Who are you?" I questioned again. "Why's Childe here?" I questioned but she interrupted me.
"We are, well, the Fatui. A sort of mafia, my dear. And Childe here is one of our best men. A Harbinger. Now, the fortune left to you by your parents before they died, as well as the government documents they possessed, shall already be taken by us, but, I assumed it'd only be right to have a little fun out of it. As for why your friend's here, its because we just happened to see him walking around here." her icy blue eyes glinted with happiness. "And on that note. Do your best to survive, for the three of us will be hunting tonight." the woman slashed open mine and Xingqiu's chains and motioned you to flee. Something I did. Xingqiu ran away in the opposite direction, although I yelled at him to stick with me.
Xingqiu POV:
I ran away, almost running out of breath in the very first few seconds. A horn sounded from the building, signaling the start of the hunt. A chill crept up my spine. I immediately entered a building nearby, and dashed up the stairs to a room, locked myself in and hid in the closet.
Several minutes later, the sound of a door breaking open sounded in the building. Glass shattered as someone threw something in the room. I squimted my blue eyes shut and controlled my erratic breathing so I wouldn't be noticed.
Air came rushing in towards me as the closet door slowly swung open. A scowl was on the face of the purple haired man, who looked bored. He knelt down to where I crouched. Ah. Karma had come to take its toll on me. I had finally achieved peace, but I wished I could have seen Hu Tao before I died, one last time. And a few moments later, I felt a huge amount of pain, which was followed by my senses dulling and everything ending.
