Lumine POV:

"Look at that sight!" I pressed my face up near the window of the double decker bus. Those who wanted to party loudly had gone up, from where the sound of singing and laughing could be heard, while the rest had remained on the lower deck, where Childe and I were sitting. I recognised Xingqiu running up the staircase, being dragged by a brown haired girl. Well, whatever. Chongyun, who still called me Lumine xiâo mèi, which meant younger sister, was seated on one of the back seats. Xingqiu had been sitting beside him, but now he was alone. I mustered all the courage I could, and leaving a confused Childe behind at my seat, I headed to Chongyun.

"Chongyun, ni hao!" I smiled as cheerfully as I could. Chongyun looked at me and flashed one of his sweet smiles that most girls swooned over.

"Nî hâo, Lumine xiâo mèi. Good to see you're finally better now." Chongyun smiled. My heart ached at the fact that Chongyun still cared about me. I plopped down on the seat next to him while Childe pouted as he watched the two of us. I giggled as he snapped on his headphones, and finally looked away. I continued talking with Chongyun, and he apologized for what Xingqiu had told me, and assured me that he was just cross at the time and didn't mean it. I resolved to talk to him as soon as possible.

"Ayaka, want to eat sakura mochi? I brought some!" I heard Thoma, who was sitting across us with Ayaka, his fiancee. Ayaka didn't love him, but he was doing his utmost best to get noticed by her. Ayaka smiled and waved her fan in front of her before eating, but covering her actions with her purple fan, like a refined lady.

"Ayaka dàjiê, can we have some?" Chongyun asked. Ayaka nodded and smiled as she passed some sakura mochi to me and Chongyun. Thoma didn't seem to like it though. Poor guy.

"Kazuha-san, please have some too. You have been working exceptionally hard for this trip, and even on this trip." Ayaka leaned towards Kazuha's seat, which was the first in their row. Kazuha strolled over to them, with an appreciating smile, accepted a plate of sweets, then left.

"Uchi mo tabete moraehenka?(can't I have this to eat too?)" Yoimiya yelled in Kansai dialect Japanese. Although I didn't understand what she said, it probably had to do with the sakura mochi.

"Dame desu yo, Yoimiya san (Thats no good, Ms. Yoimiya)." Ayaka said, slapping away Yoimiya's hands away from her sweets. The energetic orange haired Japanese girl pouted, scratched her head, then returned to her seat, whistling.

"HU IS THE QIU TAO?!" I heard screaming from upstairs and Chongyun massaged his forehead.

"Thats Hu Tao, my most hated friend who has a crush on Qiuqiu." Chongyun explained. It was cute how he still called Xingqiu as 'Qiuqiu'. This was the first I'd heard of Hu Tao. People had talked about her in front of me, but I'd never seen her. The most eccentric girl at school was in love with the most talented guy at school. It was like a situation straight out of a romance novel.

"Everyone, we're arriving soon! Please return to your original seats and prepare to go to the beach!" Kazuha said, blowing his whistle shortly after saying that. I got up from the seat, waved to Chongyun, and returned to my seat beside Childe, who was now packing his headphones in his bag.

"That really hurt, ojou chan, with you abandoning me and all." Childe grinned. I smiled back at him.

"Yeah, yeah."

A/N: As for why Lumine's nî hâo doesn't have tones used and is simply ni hao, its bc she can't speak Chinese properly so she says it without the proper tones, unlike Chongyun who speaks with the proper tones.

I did some research on the Chinese words, and thankfully, I know Japanese and can speak it so writing the jp parts was no problem. I did it to show their diverse cultures, hoping it would be interesting!
