Project Lunar - Keefe Sencen {a KOTLC and Percy Jackson crossover}

3. Sencen Household

We walk inside the Sencen house. I look around nervously.

I had started a telepathic conversation with Keefe about what his dad was like. Percy just walked next to us unsure what to do. Lord Cassius gave me a small and very uninformative tour. He ends up going up to Keefes room.

"It's a mess." Keefe says to me in the conversation.
"It's fine, don't worry." I say. He smiles.
"Are you and moon girl having one of those secret conversations?" His bodyguard Ro asks him.
"No." Keefe lies. Lord Cassius nods to himself slowly.
Percy gives me a questioning look.

"I'm asking him about his dad, cause Sophie said he wasn't a good one. They all kinda hate him." I say telepathically. He nods slowly.

"Okay, well, this is Keefe's room. It is quiet a mess, since he doesn't put enough time and effort for important things and would rather be lazy or with friends." He says. Keefe makes a face. He mutters something.
"What was that Keefe?"
"Nothing worth my time and effort to repeat." Keefe says walking into his room. I bite back my laugh. Ro follows after him.

"Sorry moon girl give us a second." Ro says. "Keefe's picking up some of his mess."
"Shut up!" Keefe yells. She laughs. She closes the door.

After a few minutes we can hear talking.
"I'm going to let them in!" Ro says.
"No!" Keefe yells.
"Too late." She says opening the door.
"About time." Lord Cassius says walking by her.

Percy and I follow after carefully.

His room was big. It was a nice room. It was pretty messy though. He had art supplies all over. I smile softly. I have loved doing art since I was younger, and it helped that I have what they called photographic memory here.
"Sorry." Keefe says nervously.

"My room is bad too." Percy says. "Though at camp half blood it's best to keep the dorms clean, well if you want to shower while there's still warm water." Percy says.
"We all know Hunkyhair here would fail and still smell bad." Ro says. We laugh.

"I have to go finish my things but I'm sure Keefe will stop being lazy and help. Your room's are across the hall." Lord Cassius says as he leaves.

I look back at Keefe who has plopped onto his bed.
"I know he's so supportive and helpful." Keefe says. I give him a sad smile.
"If it makes you feel any better, I don't even know my real parents." I say. Keefe gives me a half smile.

"Okay, so can I know about you two now?" Ro asks Percy and me.
"What do you want to know?" Percy asks.
"This ones for super weapon." She says looking at me. "Who do you think your Godly parent is?"
"I don't have a clue." I say completely honest. She nods.
"So sea boy, are you always this quiet?"
"No, I just don't have a clue what's going on." Percy says.
"That's expected." Keefe says sitting up.

"Can you show us our rooms?" Percy asks.
"Yeah, follow me." Keefe says.

We walk behind him as he goes into a room. It's huge compared to a human bedroom. It's very bright.

He walks out and goes I to another room. It's also big.

"I'll take this one." Percy says.
"Okay." I say. "Thank you." I say to Keefe.
"Yeah." He says smiling slightly.

Later I start getting ready for bed. I feel quiet uneasy.

I had just found out I was super powerful or whatever and I have no idea how to fight.

I lay in bed looking up at the ceiling. It was all different now.

I can't sleep.

I try talking to Percy.
"Hey you up?" I send.
"Huh." I hear back. "Yeah."
"I can't sleep."
"Me neither."
"I'm kinda scared."
"Of?"
"I don't know, everything?"
"Makes sense. I would be too." He says.

"I'm tired but just can't manage to fall asleep and it's annoying." I complain.
"It's a demigod thing." He says.
"Great." I sigh. "How's it going?" I ask.
"I miss Annabeth. I was supposed to see her today."
"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault and I'm really tired but if you want I'll stay up." He says.
"No, get some sleep."
"Okay, goodnight."
"Night."

I just lay there for a bit. My mind is racing.

"Keefe?" I transmit to him. There's no response. "Keefe?" I repeat.
"Hmm?"
"Did I wake you?" I ask.
"Yeah, but you saved me from a big dragon trying to snuggle me."
"Oh." I laugh.

"So how are you dealing with all this?"
"I don't know what to do. This is stressful." I say.
"Yeah, I get that."
"What else do I have to get done while here?" I ask.
"Well, right now we're currently on a two week break so you're free from school for a while. You'll also get a bodyguard because once the Neverseen finds out who you are, you'll be the biggest target."
"Shit." He chuckles.

"I'm pissed off they didn't get my backpack." I say.
"You have some prized possessions in there?"
"Yeah, like my favorite outfits, my uh- nevermind." I say.
"Oh my god! What?" Keefe says loudly.
"Shh." I say.
"Tell me!" He whisper yells.
"You'll laugh at me."
"No I won't! You saw my room."
"Okay fine. But if you laugh I'll walk across the hall and strangle you."
"Roger that."
"It's my stuffed panda. I miss him."

"Oh my god."
"Don't make fun of me."
"I have one! Mines named Mrs. Stinkbottom."
"What?" I laugh.
"Yeah, can't sleep without her."
"Mine doesn't have a name."
"Can I name him?" He asks.
"Go for it."
"How about Mr. Gibbs?" He asks. I laugh.
"Sounds perfect."
"Good. Now we have to get Mr. Gibbs back."
"I agree."

We talk for a bit longer before deciding to go to sleep.

There's a knock at my door. I jolt up. It's very bright in the room.
"Come in." I say.

The door opens to show Keefe.
"Good morning." He says.
"Morning." I say softly.

Biana runs in.
"Okay, so I brought a bunch of outfits, because human clothes aren't really used here." She says.
"Can I shower first?" I ask realizing how gross I probably look.
"Oh yeah, right, sorry." She says.

"Where's a bathroom with a shower?" I ask Keefe who's standing in the doorway along with the rest.
"In there." He says pointing to the door.
"Right, thank you." I say.

I shower then see all the outfits Bianca brought. Some are casual and others not so much.

I end up wearing a casual light blue tunic with leggings, a cape, and boots. I leave my hair down and do light makeup.

I walk out and see that everyone is ready.

I look at Percy who's looking down at his tunic with a disgusted face. I chuckle.
"Shut up." He says.
"I'm so glad I have photogenic memory so I can show Annabeth." I say.
"I hope every shower you take is cold." He says.
"I can actually heat up the water now." I say. He sighs.

"Let's go." Dex says.
