10. Boat trip

I teleport us to the dock Percy told me to go to.

Percy is waiting for us.
"Hey guys!" He yells.
"Hey!" I yell back. We walk over to him.

"This is our boat." Percy says pointing to it. We all climb in.

"I'm in charge." I hear Annabeth say. We walk over.
"No!" Leo yells. "I made the boat."
"Thank you for making my boat." Annabeth says. Leo sighs turning around.

"Oh hey, Blair." He says.
"Hi." I say before introducing everyone.

"How's Maddy?" Jason asks.
"She's doing great. She loves hanging out with the baby alicorns." I say.
"What's that?"
"Unicorn and Pegasus mix." I say.
"Oh."

"Well, does that mean we can leave?" Leo asks.
"Yeah." Annabeth says.

We start moving and I sit around with everyone else.

A couple hours go by and it seems that everyone has gotten comfortable.

"We're going in soon." Keefe says walking up behind me. I nod looking out at the water.

"It's so pretty." I say before looking at him.
"Yeah, it is." He says smiling.

The boat comes to a stop.
"Let's get dressed." Keefe says.

We all change into our bathing suits.

Leo and Keefe are talking. Leo nods to him. Keefe runs to me, picking me up in a clean motion. I scream as he jumps in the water.
"Keefe!" I yell. He laughs. I look up and see Leo laughing. I splash Keefe.

He smiles at me. Everyone else starts jumping in.

After swimming and joking for a while it gets dark and we all climb back in. I change into dry clothes and sit with the group.

"Wait, where are we sleeping?" I ask realizing there's only 7 bedrooms and 16 of us.
"Well, me and Annabeth are taking the last room to the right." Percy says.
"I'm with Piper." Jason says.
"With Frank." Hazel says. I smile at them suddenly feeling incredibly alone. Keefe elbows me gently feeling my emotions.

"Well, Tam and I can take a room. Biana you can stay too." Linh says.
"Sophie?" Fitz asks. She turns a light shade of pink.
"Sure."

"That leaves 2 rooms and 5 of us." Dex says.
"Leo?" Keefe asks.
"Sorry man, but I gotta sleep up with the mechanics too keep everything in line." Leo says.
"You can stay with me." Dex says to Nico who's looking out the window.
"Alright thanks." He says.

Keefe looks at me with a small smile.
"You're sleeping on the floor." He says.
"No, I'm not dumbass. There's a couch in there, which you'll be taking." I say. He grins before starting to run. I run after him closing the door before he opens it.

"You're cheating!" He yells.
"You're a sore loser!" I yell laughing.

"Just switch each day." Biana says.
"Or share the bed?" Piper says.
"You could take the bigger bed across the hall." Percy says.
"No, we'll just switch."
"I call dibs on the bed tonight." Keefe says.
"No."
"Yes."

"I will throw your batman hoodie in the water."
"No you won't."
"Wanna bet?" I ask snapping my fingers to make it appear above the water.
"I knew I shouldn't have let you carry my clothes." He says. Everyone around us laughs while I don't budge. "Fine."
"Thank you." I say letting the hoodie disappear.

A bit if time goes by before we all go to our rooms. I give Keefe a pillow and a blanket.
"Night, B." Keefe says.
"Night, Keefe." I say.

The next day we basically just spend in the water.

"You're getting a tan." Keefe says to me while I'm drying my hair with a towel.
"So are you." I say. He smiles.

The next morning us girls are talking while laying outside.
"So wait." Piper says to me. "I can't tell, are you and Keefe dating?"
"No." I laugh.
"Really?" Hazel asks.
"Nope." Sophie and Linh laugh.

"I personally believe they'll get together, though." Biana says rolling over.
"I don't." I laugh.
"Oh please, I see how he looks at you, plus you're not turning him away either." She says. I roll my eyes.
"You're delusional."
"You do spend more time with him than anyone else." Linh says.
"Yeah, he's my best friend." I say. I realize it's the first time I've ever said that.

"Boys are dicks." Annabeth says. I laugh.
"Facts." I say.

Frank walks out.
"Come on in, we're about to eat." He says.

We sit down and serve ourselves some food.

We eat and I go outside and sit by the railing.

I hear someone walk up behind me. It's Keefe.
"Hey." I say. He sits next to me and I face him.
"What's going on in that head of yours?" He asks.
"Nothing much. Just thinking."
"About what? How amazing I am?" He asks with a smirk.
"Keefe."
"B?"
"You're my best friend." I say. He smiles softly.
"You're mine too." I smile.
"Good." I say resting my chin on the railing.

Keefe smiles looking at me.
"You look happy." He says.
"I am. It's peaceful."
"Watch out cause once you say that, shit starts to go down."
"Oh well." I say looking at him.

"It's your day on the bed tonight."
"I know." I say. "Those are my favorites."
"You know what I'm thinking?" I wait for him to continue. "We should stay a couple more days."
"We have school."
"Yeah, but since when does that matter?"
"True. I'll talk to Percy about it later."
"Alright cool."

"What do you think Kalo and Ro are doing?" I ask.
"Probably arguing." He says. I laugh.
"Probably."
"They secretly love eachother, I just know it." He says. I nod.
"Yeah, definitely."

There's a big thunder followed by a lightning bolt.
"Oh shit." Keefe mutters.

Another lightning bolt seems to go down from the clouds to the water.
"Who pissed Zeus off?" Keefe mutters.

I stand up. Keefe does too.

"There goes our peace." I say as there's a bright yellow light appearing towards us.
