4. The day I Became a Sister

After long days of controlling my abilities and realizing that I'm much more powerful than I thought, Percy and I had decided that it's time to go to Camp half-blood.

I look at my bag and instead of packing everything I use my ability. I snap and let everything enter the void I had been taught to create. I smile in awe.
"Woah." I hear a voice say. It's Percy. "That can come in handy."

"We should get going." I say.
"Yeah." He says.
"So much is happening in my life right now, is it bad that I'm scared to go to Camp Half-Blood?" I ask.
"No, it's not." He says smiling softly.

"Come on, we'll be back." He says.

We walk out and it's time to say goodbye to everyone.

"Before you go we have something for you." Mr. Forkle says.
"What?" I ask.
"Here." He says snapping his fingers. A goblin walks in.
"Hi." I say as the goblin stands infront of me.
"That's Kalo. Kalo is here to protect you." Mr Forkle says.

I look over and see Ro and Keefe trying not to laugh at the huge creature staring at me.

"Okay. Umm hi Kalo." I say.
"Hello." He says with an incredibly squeaky voice. I try not to laugh.

"Let's go." Percy says smiling.
"Yeah, time to find out who one of my parents are." I say.
"Goodluck!"

I reach down and grab Percy's and Kalo's hands.
"Think of Camp Half-Blood." I say lifting us up off the ground. The levitation is pretty easy to me. I actually enjoy being in the air.

I read Percy's mind and think of the images he sees. We get high enough and I let go of the levitation.

We start falling fast. They both squeeze my hand harder.
"Shit." I mutter realizing how scary this is.

I focus on Camp Half- Blood. A loud thunder opens the sky to show a purple void. It sucks us in.

I open my eyes and I see ground as we start going down. I use the air to slow us down.
"Camp Half-Blood." Percy says with a smile on his face.

We start walking towards the Camp.

"Okay, just so you know some Roman Demigods are here because of my last quest." Percy says.
"Okay." I nod.

We're about to go in. I look at Kalo.
"Hey umm why don't you just stay back for now. You know?" I say.
"Why?"
"Just because if I walk in with you it might scare everyone." I say. "Look I promise of anything starts going wrong I'll alert you."
"Okay." He says leaning against a tree.

I look at Percy with wide eyes. He chuckles.

We walk in.
"They're here!" Someone yells.

"Hey." Percy says to a blonde. She runs and hugs him.
"Hey seaweed brain." She says. It's gotta be Annabeth. He kisses her softly before turning to me.

"Our newest." He says.
"Blair." I say.
"Annabeth." She says shaking my hand.

I go around and meet everyone. It's obvious some of them don't like me but I don't really care.

That night we all sit around the campfire. I'm sitting between Hazel and Jason.

"Let's see if you get claimed." Percy says to me from across the fire. I smile and nod. I really hope I do and soon.

I look into the fire and decide to use my ability and see if I could control it. I separate my pointer finger and thumb and watch the fire split in two. I watch a couple kids move back scared.

"Who did that?" Chiron asks.
"It wasn't me!" Leo yells.
"Who else can control fire then?" Jason asks.
"My fault. It was me." I say.

"Could she be the daughter of Hephaestus?" Annabeth asks.
"It's an elf ability, I think. They told me to go practice. Sorry." I say hating the fact that everyone is staring at me.
"No need to be sorry. It's fascinating." Chiron says. I smile.
