12. Monsters

We go back to school and Elwin tells me there's no more Shadowflux in my body. I'm glad.

A couple weeks later Percy sends me a message telling me some monsters might be coming after me since they found out about my existence.

I try to ignore it, but I am a little worried.

"You need to come here now." Sophie transmits to me.
"What? Why?" I transmit back.
"The demigods are here. It seems important." She says.
"Oh shit." I lightleap to Sophie's.

The demigods are standing there with many of the Blackswan.

"What's going on?" I ask.
"They're coming here." Percy says.
"Oh fuck." I mutter.
"Okay, who is?" Keefe asks.
"Monsters." Percy says.
"They're our enemies." Piper says.
"Oh."
"Why are they coming here?" Biana asks.
"For me." I say.
"How-?"

"Blair." Leo says. "We got company."

I turn around and see a huge group of monsters starting to walk over.

I make my dagger appear.

Our bodyguards start running to them.

"Guess we're doing this." Keefe says next to me.
"Guess so." I say.

We start walking towards them. They're huge ogres.

I block one's sword.
"Oh hi." I say. I light him on fire and he vanished into ash.

One swings at me but I disappear and reappear behind him.
"Hey cupcake." I whisper before lighting him on fire.

I see an arrow slide by me. I turn and don't see where it came from.

"Blair! Duck!" Dex yells. I do, and feel a sword swing above my head. I turn and stab the one behind me.

I hear someone scream. I turn and see Piper running to Jason. He's on the floor.

I force myself to run to him as fast as I can.

There's an arrow in him.
"Jason-." I mutter. He starts coughing. I kneel down next to him. Pipers crying and holding his hand.

"Jason, get up." I say. He looks at me and points at his sword. I shake my head. "No. Get up." I say as a tear rolls down my face. "Please."

He starts gasping for breath. His thoughts start to enter my mind.
"Please. Dad please." They say. He stops moving.
"Jason! No!" Piper yells.

I grab his sword and stand up. I wipe away the tears as I walk up to the group. The leader starts to walk towards me.

"You killed the wrong child of Zeus." I say looking at him. He smiles softly.
"Why's that?"
"Because he might've showed you mercy. I won't." I say staring him down. He chuckles.
"Blair Cain." He laughs.

I look behind him and see a girl.
"In the human world, there's a common saying. An eye for an eye." I say. He looks at me confused. I throw my dagger and hit the girl in the heart. She falls and disappears in ash.

The guy looks at me with pure anger.
"You're gonna regret that!"
"Then fucking kill me!" I yell.

He starts stepping towards me but I make him start levitating. I focus on him completely. I feel his body start to stretch. He starts screaming.

"Come on. Someone kill me!" I yell. No one moves as they stare at the guy in the air.

I make a fist and his limbs bend in unnatural directions. I drop him and walk over. No one attacks me.

"Now, you're going to watch me kill everyone." I say to him.

I turn to his group. I light my hands on fire. A couple of them step back.
"Who's first?" I ask.
