When we finish eating breakfast, we then put all of our dishes in the dishwasher and check again to make sure that we have everything. Whoops.. I forgot my phone....
"Hey guys.. I forgot my phone. Sorry. I'll go get it really quick." I say, and jog back up the stairs. Then I grab the lavender phone and stuff it in my bag with the rest of my stuff. Then I head back downstairs (sorry Emily and Vicky, downshtaihrs.) and join the rest of the group who has already started walking down the sidewalk to school. Dash joins me, and we begin the half-hour long walk to school.

When we arrive at school, we are there 10 minutes early. Hey, I won't complain. We get extra time to practice, and we could really use it. I mean, playing soccer as you have WINGS and POWERS..... that could get interesting. Especially since I am still learning how to control my magic and hide my wings. Well the wings I have under control for now, since they are strapped to my back, but my magic... well... just don't be surprised if things start floating through the air and explode around me.... Anyway, back to the game. It might seem easy for us to win with six players, but if none of us have played for a week, we are a little rusty. The teams we will be playing will be just as good as us, if not better, so we REALLY need to step up our game- big time. That means practice whenever we can, to assure that we are ready for the uncoming game. Dash divies us up, and I am on a team with her and Flit, while Jackie, Unicity, and Peony are against us. As we get into position, Dash gives us a word of "knowledge".
"Good luck to both 'teams'!" she says, making the fake air quotations with her hands. I mean, after all, we are all together, even as we are on different teams. The game begins in three.... two..... one...... GO! Dash kicks the ball forward, and gets ready to shoot- I guess Jackie, Unicity, and Peony weren't expecting that, as they stand still for a second, and then run after her. I watch as Unicity jumps in front of Dash, making her skid to a stop. That gives Unicity enough time to steal the ball and make towards our goal. As Dash and I run after Unicity, Flit turns away, as if she is afraid of the ball- oh dear.. That will NOT help us win...
Unicity passes the ball to Jackie, who passes the ball to Peony. Peony makes a run for our goal, and I hold my breath in anticipation. Then Dash intercepts the ball and passes it to me. I run all the way back down the field and pass the ball to Dash who shoots. Aaaaannnnnndddd.... Dash kicks the ball 15 feet into the air aaaannnndddd.... scores! Woo hoo!!! That was awesome! I have no idea how she did it, but it was still awesome! Don't get me wrong, Dash is a good player and strong and all that, but she's not THAT strong!
"Woo hoo!" she screams, and Flit and I run over to her and give her a hug (with some help from Peony's cannon, which shot confetti ALL OVER US) for the score. I hear some clapping from the benches, and turn to face them. Whoops! It looks like the whole team showed up and were watching us the whole time! Well, THAT'S embarassing...
"Thank you, thank you," we all say, and give them bows, "we totally meant to put on a show and stuff." They start laughing, with Flash being the loudest. Okayyyy.... That's kinda weird..... But I have to find out how Dash was able to make that amazing kick! I pull her aside, and I just have to ask.
