Chapter 13
"I got to my parents house at a quarter til 10am. it was still early in my book since I ain't get no kind of sleep at the hospital, I was exhausted. I refused to take a nap when I got home from getting my car from Jays this morning, cause I just knew I wasn't gon get my ass up, or it was chances that I would of just slept through the night and I didn't feel like being alone.
I showered, and did a little cleaning around the house, just so it won't be a hassle when I come back, I packed me a weeks worth to stay at my parents, although I probably wasn't going to last that long it was an just in case thing.
When i walked in the house it was so quiet you could hear a crumb drop, my mom was obviously here. her car was outside, her & Solange must of been knocked. but I didn't blame them cause that was about to be me as soon as I got settled. I went up to my old bedroom, dropped my bag, and flopped against my bed. i didn't even bother to let my mom know I was here, I sent her a text to tell her I was coming so I'm sure she'll check for her self eventually but that was the least of my worries. I laid in that bed, and was gone i don't even think I lasted longer than 30 seconds.

"Hello?" I answered my phone huskily, as I still laid in my bed from the very great 4 in a half hour nap I took. my body was still drained so I just laid there and watched tv. until my phone rang of course.
"I'm at my parents house" I told Kels as she questioned me where I was, apparently she went by my house and was frustrated that no one answered the door.
"Are you serious?" she asked rhetorically sounding even more annoyed than when I picked up the phone.
"Yeah, I got here earlier this morning" I told her, looking at the clock on my night stand that read a quarter til 3pm.
"I'm gonna stay here for a while until daddy gets better, I don't want to have to drive back and forth." I concluded.
"oh okay, well that does make sense. I'll be taking off for the weekend so I can come up there too!"
"That'll be cool, my mom is gonna have a filled day with all the girls together."
"I know right!" she replied. we chatted for a lil while longer..
"Solange apologized to me." I told Kels.
"Oh did she? how'd that go?"
"It went alright, I kind of believed her, it seemed sincere. I know everybody is just overly emotional because of my daddy condition, but we'll see once everything goes back to normal."
"I know that's right, cause I flashed on Ty lastnight, and I've been spending my whole morning trying to explain to him that it wasn't his fault, and that I was just having a hard time."
"Oh my god, what happened? yall good right?" I asked kind of worried. I know Kels had a way of cutting people real deep with her words when she wasn't in the mood.
"Yeah, we're okay now. that's why I really love that man, because he's so patient with me Bey. I mean nothing too crazy happened, it's just he was blowing up my phone, and I called him back and flashed because to me, he was acting like some sort of control freak. but then he told me, Jay had texted him and said that we all were at the hospital. so he just wanted to check on me."
"Wait, why would Jay even tell him that? does Ty know about us?" I asked, real worried now.
"I don't know Bey, I guess they had plans and Jay told him he couldn't slide because he was with you and me at the hospital."
"Oh my godddd, you see what I'm saying? everybody don't need to know that we're close like that." I said getting aggravated
"But why does it matter, it ain't like Ty know that's your teacher."
