DEANNA'S POV

Labis akong nabigla at nasaktan sa mga binitawang salita ni Jema but I didn't want to cry in front of her.

I won't give her the satisfaction.

Instead, nagmadali akong mag impake ng mga gamit ko.

I need to get out of here. I'm just so fed up with feeling like I'm at fault all the damn time.

Tumingin ako sa kanya saglit.

A little part of me still hoping that she will convince me to stay pero walang imik si Jema.

So I turned around and stormed off the door.

That's when hot angry tears started falling down my face.

Ano ba kasi problema nya? Parang wala na akong nagawang tama.

Nabigla naman ako nang may balahibong dumaplis sa paa ko. It was Ollie.

I couldn't help but smile habang tumutulo parin yung luha ko.

"I guess it's gonna be you and me for a while, buddy" I said while picking him up.

Ollie responded by licking the tears off my face.

Hayyy what did we do to deserve dogs? I am 100% convinced they are angels sent from above.

Now what?

I had reached the lobby at this point pero san naman ako pupunta?

I scrolled through my contacts to see who I can stay with.

Ate Mads.

Yes! Ate Mads. My bisaya buddy. I'm sure she'll help me out.

I quickly called her.

"Yow!" bati nito sakin.

"Hey Ate. Uhhmm sorry I have to ask you this but can I crash at your place for a while?" nahihiyang sagot ko.

"Of course you can! Do you need me to pick you up?" agad naman nitong sagot.

That's what I love about my teammates. Always willing to help with no questions asked.

"Uhm no need ate. I have my car naman. I'll just meet you at your place"

"Alright. I'll be waiting"

When I reached Ate Maddie's place, medyo nag aalangan naman ako.

Is this really the right thing to do?

Pano naman si Jema at si Milo?

Ah bahala na. I guess we're better off this way muna kesa mas magkasakitan pa kaming dalawa.

Maybe she just needs space.

I rang the doorbell at agad naman ito binuksan ni ate Mads.

Gordon, her dog immediately started jumping up at me kaya nilapag ko si Ollie so they can play.

"Hey you!" sabay yakap.

"Hey ate! So good to see you" I hugged her tight.

Nakita nya naman ang dala kong maleta.
