one

beautiful morning to wake up to one day before school starts. hirose aiichiro opens her eyes but close back as the sunlight reflects on her mirror and onto her face. she sat up on her bed and yawns while stretching her body before standing up to get ready.

she walks out of her room and sees her aunt, hatsuki kujou, cooking her breakfast. hatsuki caught the girl standing infront of her door drooling over the smell of scrambled eggs and toast. "aiichiro, go and take a shower first then you can have breakfast," her aunt smiles. the girl nods and hurriedly went to the bathroom.

quickly after a nice warm morning shower and drying her hair, she went towards the dining table and sat down ready to feast on the morning meal. "kaka, are you working today?" the girl asked as she sees the woman infront of her packing her bag with essential materials that she might need at any time of day.

the woman nodded and rush into her room. after a few minutes, she comes out of the room wearing a dark blue dress that covers her until the ankles and a large white comfy cardigan wrapped around her upper body. top it off with a white belt around her waist. "kaka looking too good in such an early morning," aiichiro cheers on, looking at her aunt. "going on a date after work?" her lips curled up into a smirk as she rest her chin on her palm, admiring her beautiful aunt.

the older laughs. "no, i just bought them last week and thought i would give it a try," the girl knows her aunt doesn't dress well especially not like this, but if the woman is making an effort then aiichiro has no other choice than to say-

"then we should go shopping together, i know a good place," the girl says in excitement as her aunt chuckled softly. "mhmm, lets go when we're both free,ok?" aiichiro nods.

the woman kisses her niece's forehead and walks to the door, wearing her shoes. the girl bids, "take care!" as her aunt walks out of the apartment.

aiichiro has never seen her parents for so long but as far she knows, they are definitely doing well. based on the financial needs they give to her and her aunt monthly, they sure are making a very success in life.

as she washes the plate clean, buzzing noises were heard from her flip phone that was lying down flat on the dining table. she stretches over the kitchen counter and to the table as she tries grabbing her phone with one breath. the girl flips open her phone and answers to what looks like a call from her friend, yashiro. "hello?" she starts the call.

"aiichiro~ are you free right now?" the obvious cheerful tone her friend's voice reaches her side of the call. "uhm, yes, why?" she responded. "just wondering if you want to go and buy some stuff for school tomorrow with me and nana," the girl thinks about it for awhile and alright have made up her mind. her two friends from the other line cheers as they hear their friend agreed to go.

"meet us now," the one called nana playfully demanded, making aiichiro salute although they couldn't see her doing so. they end the call and the girl immediately sends her aunt a text message in which the women quickly replied. finally getting an adult's permission, she went to change into something comfy but nice looking too since her friends are probably wearing something pretty or cute.

she ends up with a white turtleneck tucked into her light brown pleaded skirt that it held on with a matching white belt that her aunt was wearing and a light pink jacket to give her warmth, all that to match with her brown shoes. the girl grabs her bag and wears her shoe, quickly walking out of the house remembering to grab the keys before she get locked out again like last time.

walking to the station, she grabs her wallet that was inside her bag. but suddenly bumping onto someone, causing her wallet to fall to the ground. "ah, im sorry for hitting you-" she stops as her eyes look up to see a tall figure. his face was scary, she won't lie about that. thinking that he'll atleast pick up the wallet for her but yet he just stares at her.

as awkward as it was, she grabs her wallet and run to the station. the tall male turns around to watch her run, he thought of nothing, his mind was blank as he just stands there watching her struggle finding the coins she dropped while taking them out of the wallet. clumsy, is the only word he thought of.

"aiichiro, aiichiro, here!" yashiro waves as she sees the figure of her friend standing infront of the train station entrance.

the girl finds for the voice and once she does, she runs towards them both, embracing them like its been years since they have seen each other.

yashiro and nana grabs one of aiichiro's arm each as they choose a store to visit. "lets head to the book store, i need to buy a few missing textbooks," nana points at the shop just across them as an old lady stands infront of it, waiting for customers to come over. "nono we should go to the stationary store, i need good pens to write with," yashiro turns to the back pointing at the store behind us with her thumb.

"what the hell do you mean a good pen? all pens are the same either way you write," nana respond. "you don't understand, only a good pen can motivate me to write down notes," yashiro fire back as she stick her tongue out.

aiichiro, standing in between them, sighs and just went to the store she wants to go. they ended up at a clothing store. "eh? aiichiro, we're here to buy school-related stuff not clothes," nana says as yashiro can only admire the beautiful clothing being displayed on the mannequins. "im just here to buy my socks, most of them at home has holes on them and I don't like holes in my socks," the girl explains as her two friends nodded, agreeing to her true statement.

the entire day of shopping for school supplies has ended as they separate paths to head home and get ready for tomorrow. aiichiro comes back home and sense no presence of her aunt anywhere. she checks the clock.

5 57 pm.

of course, she finishes work at 6. aiichiro thought to herself. she place the bags of supplies on her bed as she grabs a towel to go and take another shower.

after for about so long, she was done packing and soon fell asleep on her bed to celebrate her accomplishment of getting all the necessary items in her school bag.
