rain pours down heavily, aiichiro was holding onto her umbrella. her head down, staring at the cement floor. her eyes puffy and red from crying so much.

she was heading her way to baji's funeral with hatsuki to come along with. baji.. just his name could make her cry right now. but she refused.

as they reached the venue, they entered the place and was greeted with cries. the photo of him smiling so sweetly, framed on the table that was filled with flowers.

aiichiro eyes starts to tear up as she saw the photoframe.

"aiichiro.." hatsuki calmed her down, stroking her back as the two sat down beside chifuyu and the others.

after everyone had their turns to bow and say good words of the boy, aiichiro was the last one to do so.

she kneels down, bowing. she then turns around to baji's parents.

"baji-kun was a sweet guy. he helped me through everything. he protect me. i love baji-kun.. im sorry that i wasn't able to do the same for him.." she couldn't help but cry.

"im sure he does so because he loves you alot." his mother spoke, making the girl cry more.

the funeral ended. chifuyu, aiichiro and the others haven't left the venue as other guests did one by one.

"aiichiro.." a woman's voiced from behind, called for her. the girl turns behind and sees baji's parents standing there.

she walks up to them. they hand her a box, to which she grabs to it willingly. she observed the box, it had a unique design to it.

"this was found on his table, it had a note stating to give it to you." his mother explained.

the girl nodded once before smiling at the two adults. "i'll open it at home." she responded, a tear stroking down.

aiichiro walks home with chifuyu to accompany her. and when they reached the building, they saw yashiro and nana standing infront of it. the two girls soon noticed and ran to the other two, giving them a comforting hug

yashiro and nana peeled themselves away from their friend. a look of concern painted their face as they observed aiichiro with red eyes and a sad smile. nana also caught a view of a box that her friend was holding on to.

aiichiro noticed and showed them the box that baji's parents handed to her.

"lets look inside of it together, shall we?" she suggested as the four walk to the stairway and sat down there.

she opened the lock and open the lid of the box. it had a letter, photos and a bright blue bracelet.

aiichiro immediately recognized the bracelet that was in the box as she picked it up and wore it. it was the one that hatsuki gave her, she had been finding for it but wasn't able to.

she then picked up a pile of photos that he printed. most of them were from her cellphone.

"so thats why he wanted to use my phone.." she whispered to herself, the corners of her lips curled up.

one of them had a blurred photo of baji and aiichiro, it was when she wanted to take a picture of themselves on the bike. and another one was when they first got keichiro, his paws hitting baji's face.

there was many more that made her smile widely.

the last thing in the box was the letter. she unfold it and started reading it outloud.

to hirose aiichiro.

hello. im sure you're reading the letter. shit, i don't know how to write one but im trying.

i just want to thank you for cheering me on even when we're on the most baddest terms but you tried your best to get us together again. we had so much fun together. i love every moment i spent with you.

when i first realized how whipped i was for you, i couldn't help but think of how your soft brown-red hair flow pass the wind and how your beautiful lavender eyes glow in the moonlight sky.

and when you asked me out, i swear i thought my heart was about to pop out at any moment. that time when i took you to the bridge, i couldn't help but only look at you.

and remember the time when you confessed to me? god i was so happy to have my feelings returned back. from that time, i thought to myself, yeah she was definitely the one.

everything you do, just made my heart skip a beat.

when you ask me about what to name the stray cat, i named it keichiro. because you know, keisuke and aiichiro... i hoped you actually got the hint of it at that time though.

im sorry that i wasn't able to keep my promise to marry you but hey, i kept my promise to protect you.

if you're reading this letter, then im guessing that i died.

just writing this stupid letter is making me tear up. i don't want to see you cry over me dying or else i'll regret sacrificing myself to protect my loved ones but then again, i won't regret anything as long as those i cared about are safe.

i hope you will live a happy life onwards. make sure you find someone else that can make you smile so beautifully and love them with everything you've got, ok?

ive always loved you.

from baji keisuke.

"aiichiro.." yashiro strokes her back as they all tear up at his letter. aiichiro held onto the piece of paper tightly, not realizing that she had crumbled the sides.

they went up to the apartment and entered. the girl enters her room, jumping onto her bed as soon as she wents in. keichiro comes in, purring at her as he rubs his head on her hand.

she looks at her black cat. shit, just a cat could remind her of him now. she sobs, carrying the cat into her arms and caressed its chin.

it has been two weeks since bloody halloween occurred, aiichiro and chifuyu decided to go see baji.

"ah, i need to buy something first. wait here." she nodded as she watches chifuyu run off to a store.

not too long, he came back with a bowl of peyoung yakisoba. she chuckled when he starts eating it.

"hungry? we could go get something to eat-"

"this half is for baji-san." he said as he nicely puts the bowl back inside the bag.

as they reached his grave, they gave their prayers. aiichiro stood up behind chifuyu. the two smiled at his grave.

"baji-san, i bought you some yakisoba as i promised. half is yours." her eyes grew slight wide at the sudden realization of why he bought the food and only ate half.

"i'd kill for some peyoung yakisoba right now. we'll split it, right?"

she closed her eyes, trying not to cry so much but heard chifuyu staggered breathing. she knew he was crying so she decided to coo him.

"baji-san saying 'thank you', its not fucking fair." he continued. as he spoke, she then couldn't help but cry with him.

"what am i supposed to do now?" he begged for answers, waiting for baji to respond back but he knew that his first division captain cannot do such things anymore.

chifuyu's eyes turned to aiichiro who was kneeling beside him, crying as well. he wraps his arms around her as she soaks his jacket.

a gush of wind blew at them gently. leaves that was about to wither falling down from the trees and lands on the cemetery.

their eyes then scanned around the place and saw mikey who was standing infront of them. he had a soft look on his face before walking towards them- or the grave.

aiichiro and chifuyu stood up and was about to walk away. but mikey stopped them.

"what are you going to do now, chifuyu? aiichiro?"
