thirty one

it was time for the valhalla vs toman fight. baji and aiichiro were heading their way to the abandoned parking lot, where the brawl was suppose to happen.

the black-haired male only felt worried, he can't trust her to be alone. what if some guy tried making a weird move on her?

he was still confused to why she decided to come along. yea sure, she was there to support him but he was sure there was something else as well. he knows her well enough to read her thoughts from just her face.

aiichiro on the other hand couldn't sleep well last night. after the time he told her about what takemichi told him, she couldn't help but feel scared and worried.

as the worries in her heart continues, her hand slowly grabs onto baji's, folding their fingers together tightly.

the boy immediately noticed, turning to his girlfriend. he already felt there was something going on in that head of hers. so he made them both stop walking.

"are you okay?" she nodded, adding a smile on her face to give him reassurance. he sighed as they continue walking to the venue.

as they reached, aiichiro's eyes scanned the entire place. the people around there are nothing but bad news. and if she guessed right, there are spectators to watched the fight since her eyes landed on the haitani brothers. because of her staring at them for so long, one of them, specifically the one with the braids, look back at her. 

she immediately looked away as the way he glares at her make her felt like he was going to kill her at that very moment. but her expression quickly brightened up as she sees chifuyu and takemichi standing not too far away from her. 

"i'll go see the others. don't get yourself into some trouble." baji told her before letting her hand go. she nodded and walks away from her boyfriend and to her friends.

"chifuyu, takemichi." she called for them as she runs her way to them. the two noticed and waved their hands at her.

the three have their small chat before the two male had to go back into the crowd of toman that had entered the parking lot. she makes her way to a huge pile of unused cars and climbed up to sit on one.

little did she know that she was sitting infront of the brothers mentioned earlier.

"why aren't you just cute?" a deep-voice was heard behind her as she quickly turns around. 

as she turns her head, she was immediately greeted with their fearful and dark vibe that soon surrounds her, giving her a shiver down her spine. the girl calms herself down, breathing deeply in and out trying to not get some sort of panic attack.

"say, why were you staring at us just now?" god does this guy have alot of questions. aiichiro tried her best to ignore him, resting her head on her palms that was supported by her legs. 

she continues facing forward at the fight that was about to start. kazutora and draken walked forward as representatives for their groups.

"if toman wins this battle, we will take baji back." she hummed, knowing baji's plan for leaving toman it wouldn't be easy even if they do win. he won't come back until that kisaki dude is no more.

after a few seconds, her eyes grew wide in surprise as she witness kazutora punching the overseer twice to the point where he collapsed on the floor. and off they went, starting the brawl as both gangs immediately ran to each other throw punches and kicks mercilessly. 

it was expected, she expected this to happen. i mean its a gang fight, what the hell can you expect other than a blood bath as the end result?

as she watches hanma and draken fighting, she help but wonder where baji was. her attention then draws to kazutora, who jumped up from one car to other from another pile of unused cars. she noticed mikey following from behind.
