chifuyu unlocks the door, inviting the other two to go inside. they took off their shoes and places their pair nicely. aiichiro was a little lost since it was her first time coming over to chifuyu's place but followed baji since it seems like he knows where to go.

only to lead her to the bathroom. "huh?" he turns around when he felt a body jumped in slight shock."why are you following me? go to chifuyu's room," he points behind her. she nodded and walks inside to see the blonde boy already taking out the first aid kit box.

"here, give me your hand," he stretches his hand out to grab onto her's. gently patting the scratches on her palm with cotton and some medicine. the girl tried her best to ignore the pain.

but something surprisingly shocked her. a line of fur curled around her other arm as it purred. she slowly moves her head down to see a black cat caressing its cheeks against her skin. the shock turns to relief as she sighs. "oh, you have cat. cute~" she scratches its chin. his mouth shaped into a small 'o' but smiled as the pet walks to him and lay down to sleep.

the door opened, revealing baji who just washed his hands. "tch, baji-san. please wipe your hands dry properly," he grabs a box of tissue and hands it to the other male.

once they were done patching up, baji and chifuyu starts making conversations like they always do while aiichiro plays with the cat who had just woken up.

the girl took a little while to find a little confidence as to interrupt the boys' conversation. "ive meaning to ask you guys," the two males look at her. "how did you know i was being surrounded by gang members?" they look at each other and then back at her.

"well, i was about to go home after a little meeting with the division captains and saw you were in danger," baji answers her question first. it was just a little get together with his good friends.

"and chifuyu?"

"oh, i just so happened to walk pass you guys and heard baji," the blonde laughed a little, scratching the back of his neck. "and we were told to look out for the group of people when we see them," they both said in sync, making the female laugh.

aiichiro nodded and continues her attention on the cat infront of her who had been waiting to get her attention back.

baji stood up and sigh. "i have to tell mikey about this tomorrow, im heading back to my house," he said before turning the doorknob and open the door. but he stops his footsteps before turning to the side, looking at the girl who seemed to feel his eyes landing on her. "you should head back too, its late,"

"right," she quickly stands up, fixing her skirt before walking behind baji. chifuyu followed them to the main door. the two exit the house. "bye bye chifuyu," she waves at him and he waved back, baji did the same before the two walk further away from the house.

the black hair boy decided to assist her home because of how dangerous it could be for a girl like her to roam around the dark night. "baji-kun, its the right," she tried calling for him as she watch him walk the opposite direction.

"baji-kun. baji-kun..." she took a deep breath before calling out for him one last time. "baji-kun!!" his whole body jumped at her shouting at him. he turn to the back and sees her arms crossed, her eyebrows furrowed down with a frown on her lips.

he walks towards her and there they continue their way to sent aiichiro back home safely.

the walk was quiet but the sound of crickets and cars honking from afar made it less quiet. aiichiro tried to think of a way to start something but couldn't seem to think of anything, like her brain just went blank.

baji on the other hand had his hands in his pockets, his yellow eyes staring at anything that he walked pass. also was trying to think of some way to not make it so awkward.

"soー" he started once he finally found something. "do you have any older siblings that could come and fetch you home?" it took her awhile to answer but sooner she found the energy to speak.

"no, im an only child," her head tilt to the right, looking at the dark blue sky above their heads.

"ha same here," he responded and after that silence took over again. the awkwardness came back in a blink of an eye and she doesn't like it. she wants to get out of it right away. she just wants to be at home quickly.

baji sighs tiredly as he stops and scratches his head. aiichiro stops herself when she sees the male is way behind her. "lets take the time to know a little about each other," he suggested, her eyes widened slightly but a small smile plastered onto her face as she shook her head up and down.

and so they continued walking. atleast this time it wasn't as awkward like earlier. they had a few laughs and a few scolds to and from each other. "do you actually burn cars when you're hungry?" she ask, wiping off the tears of laughter.

"tch, its not my fault. the damn restaurant didn't have enough and mikey already ordered one. those ingredients were only enough to cook one," he complains as he remembers the times when he would argue with mikey about sharing it but of course, the other boy disagree on sharing.

she had one last question to ask before they reached to where they were heading to first and so she did. "baji-kun, i have another question. last one, i promise," he turns to her and gave her the assurance that she should proceed to ask.

"about that kazutora guy, you barely talk about him," baji only kept quiet. the girl gasp softly as she suddenly felt guilty. she wasn't yet able to ask the question but now she decided not to. "im sorry for trying to even askー"

"i'll tell you when i feel like it," he turns his back to her before waving. didn't take her awhile to realised that she was already infront of the apartment building she lives in.

guess i have to wait. she thought before going up the stairs to the apartment.
