Jason's P.O.V

The noise from the arena sent shivers down my spine, but at the same time, it filled me with excitement. All those people had come just to listen to my band. It almost felt like a dream, but every time I pinched myself, I didn't wake up. This was really happening.

I turned to Percy, our band's drummer. "Ready to rock?"

"I'm always ready to rock!" Percy snorted before walked off to give his girlfriend one last kiss before the show. It was his good luck charm according to him, but I think he just uses it as an excuse to kiss his girlfriend all the time.

I watched as Nico, our bassist, walked off towards the bathroom, hand in hand with his boyfriend Will. Despite how discrete they were trying to be, we all knew what they were about to do. Instead of letting my mind wander to unwanted areas, I changed my gaze to our guitarist, Frank. He was cuddling on the couch with his long term girlfriend Hazel. They both were shy about public displays of affection, but even they shared a quick kiss backstage before every show. Seeing all the affection everywhere just made me even more aware to my relationship status. Single. And I had been for months now. Sure, girls sent me marriage proposals daily, but I wasn't really playing for their team, if you get what I mean. That's not to say I haven't been getting attention from some male fans, but they're mainly just trying to get me to hook them up with Nico, since he hadn't told our fans about his relationship with Will yet.

"You're on in five!" A voice yelled from the door.

I immediately dropped my thoughts and began my pre-show routine. I sang a few scales to warm up before producing two screams to really wake me up. After my vocal warm up, I did ten jumping jacks to physically warm me up. The movement helped to clear any nervousness that crept up on me while I was standing there gazing around the room at my band mates.

Nico and Will returned from their own pre-show routine and parted ways. Will went off with Annabeth, Percy's girlfriend, to get to their seats in the private section we'd reserved for them, while Nico joined the rest of us at the edge of the curtain.

"I can't believe this is the last show on the tour!" Percy exclaimed as he twirled his drumsticks in his hands. "I mean, it feels just like yesterday when we were kicking off out tour in New York! Now look at us, we're in California playing to a sold out arena!"

I watched the rest of the band's faces morph into grins. "At least we get a two month break before our next tour. I guess that means we should really put all our energy into this concert."

"I'll make sure to nail my solos tonight then!" Frank chimed in.

"Frank, you always nail your solos..." I pointed out.

Nico chuckled. "Blondie's got a point."

"Hey! Don't start calling me Blondie again!" I protested as the rest of the band laughed.

The same voice from earlier called out. "Thirty seconds!"

At the sound of the loud voice, we all silenced our laughs. Now was the time to really get into the mindset of performing. I inhaled a few times to keep my nerves in check before cracking my fingers. It's time to go! The pounding of my heart matched the rhythm of my footsteps as we sprinted out onto the stage. Percy, being the cocky little nugget that he is, took a big bow before seating himself behind the drum kit. Nico, on the other hand, calmly made his way over to his side of the stage, barely seeming to notice the audience. He's like that, calm and collected on the outside, but freaking out on the inside. And then there was Frank who smiled goofily out to the fans as he settled into his spot on my right.
