Two weeks later
"Mr Newton please stand.." the judge said
Hudson stood up and buttoned his jacket.
"Mr Hudson Im sentencing you to 15 years in prison.." the judge said
Larkin looked down as she did the math in her head and a tear rolled down her cheek. After the sentencing hearing was over. She said her goodbyes to her dad as she cried and left tbe courthouse.
She sat at the beach for awhile before going to the high school's football game. After the game was over she drove around. Before she ended up at Bucky's house.
James answered the door. "Hi Mr Barnes..is Bucky home?" She said
"Yes he is. Follow me." James said
"You doing okay?" James said as they went upstsairs.
"I will be one day." She said as they stopped in front of the door.
He knocked on the door. "James?" He said as he opened it.
Bucky removed his headset as he was playing World of Warcraft with friends.
"Hey dad whats up?" He said as he turned his chair.
"You have company.." James said and moved.
Bucky saw Larkin with her cheer bag in hand as James left.
"Wh-what a-are y-y-you d-doing h-here?" He said
"Neutral? What were you doing?" She said as she sat her bag down.
"I um I was playing uh um playing a game." He said
"Well you can go back to it. Im just going to use your shower if thats okay? Ive been out all day.." she said as she went into his bathroom.
He took a deep breathe "Oh my god what have I done?" He whispered as he went back to his game.
A few minutes later she came out in cheer shorts and a crop top. Bucky peaked around his chair at her. "Oh my god..seriously" he thought.
She came over to him and he muted his mic. She sat in his lap.
"L-L Larkin? What are you doing?" He whispered
"Ive had a bad day. My dad is in jail until Im in my thirties. And my mom unpaused their divorce." She said as her sleeping pill began to kick in.
"Larkin, are you okay? You are slurring.." he whispered
"Yeah I took my sleeping pill." She said half asleep.
"I need my arm..why dont you just um..mm get in my bed." He whispered as she wiggled into his lap.
He helped her into his bed and finished his game. When he was done he went downstairs to find his dad.
"Dad dad how am I suppose to sleep? Shes in my bed wearing very little clothes. And she took a sleeping pill so shes out." Bucky said
"Son, you sleep like you normally would. My God son no need to be a nervous nellie." James said
Bucky sighed and went upstairs he put a pillow in between them as he went to sleep aftet he checked that Milo was gone.
