The next morning Bucky and Larkin walked in together hand in hand. She was wearing a pair of his sweats and his astronomy club shirt. They walked past Milo and his group which includes Luca.
"Luca you alright man?" Sam said
"Peachy" he said
All day long everyone talked about the new IT couple by lunch time Luca was sick of it. He watched as Larkin sat at Bucky's table.
Carol looked at them. "So is this some of kind of joke? Cause if your intentions aren't pure I will personally beat your ass for hurting Bucky." Carol said
"Carol" Bucky whispered
"Don't you Carol me. Shes one of them..and now the whole school knows who you are. I don't want to see you get hurt." Carol said
Larkin looked down, Bucky seen her face.
Larkin could feel all the eyeballs on her again. "Carol we have been together five months now we are in love with each other. My intentions are pure." She said loud enougb for the lunch room to hear here.
That made Luca's blood boil. "MJ did you know?" Luca said
"Dude I didnt know who his girl was till Christmas and honestly I thought she was just messing with him." Milo said
After school Bucky had his arms wrapped around Larkin from behind her. He kissing on her neck when Luca and the rest of the group came down the hall.
"Larkin! What the hell are you doing with this nerd? You need to come back to me." He said
She just shook her head. "I don't need to do anything. And this nerd treats me better than you ever did. So leave us alone." She said
"Larkin baby please come back to me. You belong with me you are my girl." He said
Bucky looked at him. "Psh, your girl? Where were you when her world was crumbling all summerong oh thats right on a yacht in the Bahamas. Where were you when she was losing evetything oh right banging her best friend. It was me that was there for her who had to listen to her cry. It was me she came running to when her dad was sentenced when all of you deserted her and hid behind your parents who went out of their way to start petitions to get her off HOCO court and take her captain spot away. Maybe you should think about your actions that lead her right to me where she can be herself." Bucky said
Luca came towards him "Listen here I am not about to let some virgin nerd tell me how to treat my girl." Luca said
"She's my girl now." Bucky said
Luca balled up his fist he went to punch but Milo stopped him. "You lay one god damn hand on my brother and I will beat your ass. Best friend or not you dont touch him." Milo said
Bucky gulped as he stood in shock. "Lets go Bucky..Ive had enough drama" Larkin said as they walked off.
