Two weeks later
"Larkin we don't need anything else bad happening so this meeting better not be bad." Ophelia said as they drove to the school.
When they arrived at the school they were met by the cheer coach Alexis Nash Coach Fury Principal Fury and Ms Hill.
"Please have a seat." Coach Fury said
Once everyone was seated Coach Fury looked down.
"Larkin I want to start off by saying that I know without doubt that you are have incredible character. You were an amazing captain last year to the JV team." Coach Fury said
Coach Nash looked down.
"Am I being kicked off the squad?" Larkin said
"No but it has become apparent that Spencer's mother along with some of the other parents that we discuss you stepping down as captain." Coach Fury said
"Why would my daughter need to do that? What did Abigail say?" Ophelia said
She started a petition Ophelia all the parents signed it including football basketball and dance parents." Coach Fury said
"They want me to step down because of my dad? I have nothing to do with it." She said
Larkin started to cry and threw her captain key to the school athletic facility on the table and walked out.
"If it wasn't for the fact that Im already paying legal fees for my husband I would sue this school.Punishing my daughter for her father's wrong doings because some parents signed a petition isnt fair to her." Ophelia said
When they left the school and returned home they were shocked to find FBi agents raiding their house. Reporters snapping away with their cameras and yelling questions.
"Sorry Mrs Newton. But the house is being repossessed as well as your cars. You are only allowed to keep your clothes and everything else is being taken." The lead agent said
Larkin went up to her room to see it trashed including the brand new camera her dad had just gotten her for her 16th birthday five months ago. The film had been pulled out and the lens was broken.
Over the next several days Ophelia and Larkin stayed at Ophelia's parents until they found a house and furniture.
Hudson's brother Franklin brought Larkin a new car while Ophelia got herself one. They moved into a smaller house. Larkin fixed up her room with some fairy lights and lace curtains.
