Two days later
"You're late.." Bucky said
"Im five minutes late. I was stopped by reporters after I took a minute to breathe and cry in my car." She said
"I told you from the beginning I didnt need excuses." He said
She looked down.
"Larkin I know you have alot going on right now. But this is your life you cant keep letting your grades slip further and further." He said
"I should go..I cant focus." She said
He sighed. "Larkin would you rather go somewhere neutral?" He said
"Neutral?" She said.
"Yeah, follow me." He said
They left the school in their separate cars. She pulled into his driveway behind him. He took her out back where they studied outside. Winnie came out when she came home.
"Hey sweetie who is your friend?" Winnie said
"Oh shes my tutoring student. This is Larkin Newton." He said
"Nice to meet Larkin." Winnie said
"Nice to meet you Mrs Barnes." She said
"You can call me Winnie honey. Are you staying for dinner?" Winnie said
Bucky looked at his watch. "No.." he said
"James dont be rude?" Winnie said
"Weve been studying for two hours mom." He said
"Oh yeah I need to go. It was nice meeting you Winnie " she said as Bucky walked her out.
Ten minutes after she left Bucky's brother Milo and Luca pulled in. Milo is best friends with Luca they are also senior football players.
