Three days later
Bucky waited till after school to apologize to Larkin. He found her at her locker once the hallways were cleared. He walked over to her.
"Larkin.." he said
She moved her locker door. "Oh hi.." she said
"Did you leave my house in tears?" He said
She looked down. "Larkin Im sorry I upset you but you can't just show up at my house like that." He said
"Its fine." She said in a low tone.
"Is this a joke?" He said
"What are you talking about?" She said
"Like did my brother put you up to this?" He said
"Brother? Who is your brother? And no this isnt a joke.." she said
"My brother is Milo.." he said
"No this isn't some joke. And I didn't even know he is brother till now. Look if you don't want me around thats fine. Im use to everyone deserting me by now. I have to get to cheer practice " she said and walked off.
Bucky looked down. "Larkin wait.." he said as he walked over to where she stopped.
"Im sorry. Please don't cry.." he whispered when he wiped her tears.
They exchanged numbers before going off to their extracurricular activities.
