(21) Fatherly Advice & Confessions

A week later

*Knock knock* 

"Come in.." James said from his desk.

"Hey dad.." Bucky said as he sat down. 

"Whats up?" James said 

"Um..how um well I understand the logistics of my question Im about to ask so I dont need you re hash my sex talk." He said 

"Is Larkin pregnant?" James said 

"No..um we haven't done that..yet. But I want to..with her. I just she always takes the lead which js fine..but I." He said tryinf to figure out how to ask a question. 

James pulled out his wallet and handed him a $20 bill. "Son, first here is some money for condoms. And secondly you will figure it out. Believe me guys first times are always a little awkward she will understand." James said 

Bucky looked down. "Thanks dad." He said 

"You know as much as I love being the one you come to. You do have an older brother you can go to for advice too." James said just as Milo was about to knock. 

"No..Milo likes to pretend that I dont exist. He doesnt care about me and all he does is make jokes. She didnt even know he was my brother that right there tells me he wouldnt be there for me if I needed him to be. Thanks for the advice again.." Bucky said and he walked out. 

Milo walked in after him. "Hey dad can borrow some money.." Milo said 

"Shut the door and sit down" James said as Bucky went upstairs to get his keys. 

That night she came over after dress shopping for winter formal. 

"Hey.." she said 

"Hey come here.." he said as he kissed her. 

He put his headphones in her ears. "This song is how I feel about you.." he said.

She smiled at him. "Okay.." the song "Falling Like Stars" by James Arthur. 

She felt happy tears start to fall down her cheeks. She kissed him when the song was over he laid his headphones and phone down. 

"I love you Larkin Skye." He whispered 

"I love you too." She whispered
