A month later
With her father in jail her parents put their divorce on pause. The lawyer told them it would look good for him if his family presented a united front. But the courts not only froze Hudson's assets and off shore accounts.
Ophelia Larkin and their other children had their passports revoked. Which meant Larkin wasn't able to go with her friends on the yacht to Barbados. So she was sitting on the hood of her car ina grey romper with her hood up at the beach waiting for the fireworks to start.
Bucky pulled into a spot by his friends he said hi to all of them. As he was talking to them and looking around he spotted Larkin. He was confused his brother Milo was on the football team and said everyone who was a cheerleader or a football player was going on the trip.
"Why is she here" he thought.
He lied about going to the bathroom to his friends. He walked over to her car.
"Larkin?" He said
She looked over at him. "Oh hey Bucky.." she said as she wiped her face.
"You okay?" He said
She gave him a fake smile. "Yup.." she said
"You are a terrible liar. Aren't you suppose to be on a yacht?" He said
"I couldn't go. The courts took my passport and froze all of our accounts." She said
"Oh.." he said
"But Im fine. I just needed to get out of the house." She said
"Okay.." he said as he walked off.
When the show started she laid back on her windshield. Bucky kept looking over at her to make sure she was okay.
