The sky above was clear between the buildings. Down on the ground, a group of twenty was passed out in an alley. All of them wore strange costumes, almost as if they had come from a comic con or a costume contest. Slowly, they all began to wake up. The last one to wake wore a green outfit and had green hair.

What? He thought, Where am I? What was I doing? How did I get here?

He heard the murmuring of his companions.

My classmates are here, too? What were we doing?

"Where are we?" Asked a boy with half white half red hair.

"What happened to that bastard?!" Asked a boy with spiky blonde hair.

Were we... in a fight? The boy with green hair wondered.

"Midoriya!" Asked a guy in what almost looked like a suit of white armor, "Did you manage to land the final hit on Him?"

Izuku Midoriya looked at the guy in mild confusion.

"On who?" He asked.

"You... don't remember? All For One. We were just fighting him."

It all came back.

"SMASH!!!" Midoriya screamed, swinging his foot around.

The toe landed on a nearly featureless, bloody face, sending the body attached to it flying.

"Kacchan!" He shouted to the spiky blonde.

"EAT THIS, YOU BASTARD!!!" Katsuki Bakugo screamed, holding his hand out in front of him.

A massive explosion sent him flying away. Straight into a fist harder than any rock known to man. That sent him into a plume of fire, giving him terrible burns. An orange disk slammed into the wall right behind him, and yellow lightning followed, electrifying him. A cannon fired near him, sending him into a bundle of purple orbs. The twenty costumed beings stood together, Midoriya in front of all of them. They had recently taken down all of his enforcers: Dabi, Mr. Compress, Toga, Spinner, and the dreaded Tomura Shigaraki. Now, he had no one to hide behind. All For One. After they had dealt with the others, they came after him in force. Now he was basically on his deathbed. His body was covered in burns, both acidic and thermal, most of his bones were broken, and he was bloody.

"You're all a tenacious bunch," All For One laughed, spitting blood, "one more shot from even that relatively unremarkable invisible kid, and I doubt I'd recover."

He attempted to get up, but the orbs wouldn't let him. He had enough freedom of movement to manipulate his hands, though.

"No doubt," he continued after spitting more blood, "you could surpass the heroes of today. But you won't get the chance."

He flexed his hands and electrified black goop swirled behind the twenty. Suddenly, there was an immense force of suction they all tried to resist.

"If I sent you to another part of the city, the country," he coughed up more blood, "or even the world, you'd just find your way back and end me. But another world? One without quirks?  How will you last?"

The group began getting sucked into the portal. Midoriya was the last one.

"Farewell," he grinned a bloody grin, "'new symbol of peace'."
