The quinjet flew over the ocean toward the Raft. About ten miles out, they were contacted.
"Avengers quinjet," said a voice through the comms, "you are not authorized to enter Raft airspace without authorization. What is the purpose for your intrusion?"
Unlike most of the others there, Bakugo was collected. He responded.
"We have Deku, Round Face, Pikachu, Ears, Shitty Hair, and Eyes," he responded, "we're reuniting them with their friends."
"Repeat who you have. Who are the latter five?"
"Uravity, Chargebolt, Earphone-Jack, Red Riot, and Pinky."
"Copy that, please stand by."
The line went dead. Everyone looked at Bakugo like he'd just betrayed everyone. They were in complete shock of what he just did.
"Ka-Kacchan," Midoriya asked, "what are you--"
"Relax, Deku," Bakugo replied, "technically, we are reuniting you with your teammates. Just not the way they expect us to."
A couple minutes later, they were given clearance to land. The quinjet landed with guards standing just outside the ramp. As soon as it opened, all of the guards were frozen in place by Todoroki. Kaminari began jamming all signals, which also interfered with the electronics in the base. Jiro plugged into the Raft and found the shortest distance to the cells with the least amount of guards. All of 1-A began running toward their imprisoned friends. Iida stopped by the storage room and grabbed their friends' hero costumes. They came to the hall of cells designated for them. All of them briefly inspected their designated cell to overt discomfort. They reached the cells that their friends were being held.
"So you weren't just pulling our leg," Sero said, "you did come back for us."
"If we're gonna be treated like villains for being human," Bakugo said, "then we'll be heroes in our own way."
The locks and their restrictors were destroyed, and they quickly put their hero costumes on. Now, they just needed to leave this place.
"FREEZE!!!" They all heard from the hall behind them.
They turned around and saw a couple dozen guards with riot shields and stun batons.
"YOU ALL ARE UNDER ARREST!!!" The head guard said, "SURRENDER!!!"
Kirishima and Ashido stepped to the front of the group.
"You want to arrest them?!" Kirishima asked.
"You'll have to go through us!" Ashido said.
Kirishima entered Unbreakable, and Ashido generated her Acidman. They both charged forward, the guards clearly not expecting it. They broke through the shields and destroyed all of the weapons before knocking all of the guards out. The rest of 1-A followed them to the quinjet. They all got on and left the Raft behind.
"I forgot how awesome your Acidman is," Kirishima said, placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Did you forget who gave me the idea?" She asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Of course not," he said.
They hugged.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Minetta screamed.
They had a transmission coming in from an unknown ID. They answered it cautiously.
"Can I assume," the voice of Secretary Ross said, "that Bakugo is the one responsible for breaking those four out of the Raft?"
