They were all pretty cramped in the quinjet. They had a mission that they were all looking forward to. Not even a week had gone by since the collapse of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the emergence of Hydra, and yet they were already on the first of many missions to capture all of the Hydra bases. This was the first time since the Battle of New York that they were all working together, so to speak. This first base they were going to was in the northern tundra of Canada. Everyone packed accordingly with everyone wearing the winter versions of their costumes.
"Alright, 1-A," Iida said, "Listen!" A hologram of a base showed in the middle of the quinjet, "This is the Hydra base that is within a semi-acceptable travel limit for us! Our mission is simple: we take all of the Hydra agents captive so they can stand trial for what they have done, and we get all of the information we can!"
"Don't be so formal, four-eyes!" Bakugo said, "Just shorten the mission talk to we just need to kick their asses, and take all the information on them that we can!"
"So manly!" Kirishima said.
"SHUT IT, SHITTY HAIR!"
The quinjet landed in a forest about five minutes after. Everyone got out and quickly wondered which direction the base was, exactly. There were plenty of birds above them chirping loudly.
"Excuse me, friends," a shy Koda said to the birds, "we're looking for a large base in these woods. Do you know where it could be?"
One flew down and chirped a reply before flying off again.
"She said the base is a five minute's walk to the west," Koda said to the classmates, "if we wanted to be sneaky, there's an unguarded position on its northern entrance."
"Sneaky would be the best course of action," Midoriya entered a mumbling storm, "but if there's no distraction, then there'd be too many guards for a stealth team to be successful. But even if there was a distraction, it would set them into a panic, and they'd start destroying whatever data they have, and we'd only be half successful. But a full frontal assault would be even worse because all of our forces concentrated in one area would mean if we're careless, we won't last forever, so if we sent a stealth team and--"
"Deku?" Uraraka asked, "Do you have a plan?"
"--also had a frontal assault as a distraction, then that would probably work best." Midoriya exited his muttering storm and told everyone of his plan.
"An assault while a stealth team sneaks in?" Iida said, "It's a good plan! Who do you propose goes on the stealth team?"
"They won't be looking for moi," Aoyama said, "I shall lead the team."
"No offense," Ashido said, "but your whole costume says 'HEY LOOK AT ME! I'M A HERO HERE TO THWART A VILLAIN'S PLANS!' We'll need people who can be unseen and unheard, right, Midoriya?"
"Exactly, Ashido," Midoriya said, "The stealth team will be Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, Ojiro, Hagakure, Shoji, Koda, Kaminari, and Jiro."
"We're on it, Midoriya," Todoroki said.
"We won't fail," Yaoyorozu said.
"Won't be a problem," Ojiro said.
"We can do it!" Hagakure said.
"You can count on us," Shoji said.
Koda gave a thumbs up.
"They won't know what happened," Kaminari said.
"Try not to destroy their forces that badly," Jiro said.
The eight left. Midoriya turned to the rest of them.
