1-A was walking through the heat in disguises. All of them wore uncomfortable clothing that made them question why any rational human would wear this in the heat. It was worse that they couldn't leave their hero costumes on the holographic camels that Tony Stark made to sell the illusion.
"How much farther?" Kaminari asked, "I'm gonna get dehydrated if we keep walking aimlessly."
"SHUT UP, PIKACHU!!!" screamed Bakugo, who was leading the way with a hologram being projected out of a disk in his hand, "ACCORDING TO THE MAP, ONCE WE GET OVER THAT DUNE WE'LL BE ABLE TO SEE THE BASE!!!"
"I wonder what Sokovia would have been like," complained Ashido.
"Probably far colder than this," Iida said, "After all, it is a small northern European country that--"
"SHUT UP!!!" Bakugo screamed.
They all reached the top of the dune and looked down. Straight into a large crater of sand.
"WHAT?!" Bakugo asked, "IT SHOULD BE RIGHT THERE!!! I'M GONNA KILL THAT TIN MAN!!!"
Midoriya noticed just how perfect the crater was and how the dunes seemed to drop about a yard before they reached the crater.
"Kacchan, I have a theory," Midoriya said, "the map is right, I just think it might be an underground base."
"HOW COULD IT POSSIBLY BE UNDERGROUND, DEKU!?" Bakugo asked.
In answer, Midoriya fired an Air Force smash into the crater. The sand blew away to reveal metal.
"Now I get it," Bakugo said, "FOUR-EYES!!! CLEAR THE CRATER OF THE SAND!!!!"
Iida briefly looked confused until he saw the patch of metal Midoriya uncovered. He broke into a sprint, powered by his engines, and after thirty seconds the crater was revealed as a giant pair of sliding doors.
"ICY-HOT!!!" Bakugo screamed, "FREEZE THE DOOR OVER, AND I'LL BLAST US IN!!!"
Todoroki slid down to the door and it was very quickly covered in a layer of ice. Everyone could hear the strain the metal was under. Everyone shed their disguises and donned their full hero costumes. Bakugo flew up and fired a full gauntlet into the door. It shattered and 1-A went in after the shards of frozen metal. Hydra was set off by their arrival.
"It's the young Avengers!" They heard one of the thugs scream.
1-A began their assault.
Midoriya bolted to a group of agents and swiftly launched them into walls, knocking them out. In the commotion, he didn't hear an agent coming behind him. But he did hear the slam of a hard plastic foot into the agent's head. He turned around and saw Uraraka just releasing herself.
"You gotta watch your back, Deku!" She cheerfully said.
"Y-yeah," he said, "thanks."
She flashed a brief smile and turned, stone-faced toward a group of Hydra thugs charging towards them. Midoriya watched as she charged forward, hands low. She then slid between the legs of the leading thug and grabbed his ankles, pulling him into a face plant, knocking him out. She leapt to her feet, making sure they landed on the next thug's chest. She kicked him in the face and brought the foot around to another thug's head. She cancelled gravity on herself and flipped over the last thug, slamming her heel into his head. She released herself and ran toward the next group.
"Wow..." Midoriya said, almost dreamily.
He heard someone running toward him on the right, screaming something about the glory of Hydra. He didn't even look, and just fired an Air Force smash into the thug. He heard the impact of the smash and the thud of the body on the wall.
