The Battle of New York Begins

The portal opened, and strange flying vehicles came out of it. Several of the heroes were in a stunned trance. Iron Man flew right towards the incoming craft and began firing on them. Bakugo flew himself up as well. He made an explosion on the pilot of the alien craft, causing it to crash on the ground. Mild worry caught in the rest of the heroes when they saw the creature that landed in front of them, not moving. They noticed some lights on the skin that were flickering. Jiro plugged into it from a distance and was completely shocked at what she heard.

"There's no heartbeat," she said, "just a static sound."

"So these are like robots?" Bakugo asked through the earpiece.

"I guess so," Midoriya answered, "but they're more advanced than anything we've seen."

"Nice. That means I can let loose on these alien bastards!"

"Are these the Chitauri," Yaoyorozu asked, "the one guy was talking about?"

"I'd assume so! Now stop talking and get to fighting!"

Several of the Chitauri ships flew lower to the ground, firing on people and vehicles. Aoyama fired a laser out of his shoulder, which slammed into one of the ships, causing it to crash. Yaoyorozu began creating a cannon to fire at the sky.

"Hey, Tape!" Bakugo screamed into the comms, "Get up here and help me, dammit!"

Sero looked at Midoriya, who just nodded. He fired tape from his elbow onto a passing chitauri ship, and he flew off with it.

"Hey kids," a voice no one recognized said into the comms, "it's nice that you want to help, but"

"Wait," Midoriya said, "who are you?"

"Uh, that's a trick question, right?"

"Stark," a different voice said, "we're on your three, headed northeast."

"What did you stop for drive-thru? Swing up Park, I'm gonna lay 'em out for ya."

"So wait," Midoriya said, "you're Iron Man?"

"Tony," the second voice said, "who did we just hear?"

"Some kids playing superhero."

"We're not playing, you idiots!" Bakugo said, flying toward a chitauri ship. He flipped himself over it and fired an explosion into the back of the piloting chitauri, causing it to fall into the ground before he continued flying, "We are heroes!"

A jet flew overhead, firing on more chitauri ships.

"So, who are you then," Stark asked, "some pissed off pomeranian?"

"What'd you just call me, Tin Man?! I'M THE EXPLOSION MURDER GOD DYNAMIGHT!!!"

Stark began flying above him. He saw him maneuver himself around with explosions fired from his hands.

"Alright, Sparky Sparky Boom Man," Stark said.

The jet crashed not that far away from the rest of the heroes.

"WHAT'D YOU JUST CALL ME, YOU BASTARD?!?"

Out of the jet ran three people. One in a blue costume similarish to the heroes with a red, white, and blue shield with a star in the center, one in a nearly skintight black suit, and the other with a bow and a quiver full of arrows.

"Kids," the man with the shield said to the rest of the classmates, "you shouldn't stay here. It's too dangerous."

"We're staying," Midoriya said, "we can't let people die. Not if we have the power to save them."
