Tommy, and Lia began to walk away from the bridge together when Tommy had an idea.
"Hey you want to stay at my place tonight my dad is leaving for a business trip." Tommy said. He knew she shouldn't be alone and his dad was leaving for a Business trip.
"Really?" she asked hopefully.
"Of course!" He respond happily. She basically tackled him with a hug but he didn't mind. Tommy likes hugs but never gets them so he liked it. After a minute of hugging Lia spoke.
"I should probably call madam forum so she won't file a missing persons report" Lia said with a giggle.
"Who is madam forum?" Tommy asked clearly curious.
"She is my foster parent at the foster home" she explained rather fast. Tommy nodded in understanding knowing not to press the topic. Lia pulled out her phone and diled her number.
"Ring, ring, ring, ri-
"What do you want" she said in a firm and annoyed voice. Lia gulped and began speaking.
"C-can I stay at someone's house tonight" she stuttered out.
"I don't give a fuck, whatever gets you out of the house" she said rudely
"Thank you madam forum" she said sweetly and with that she ended the call. She looked back up at Tommy and smiled.
"Let's fucking gooo!!!" Tommy screamed. He threw his hands up in the air and ran around her. Lia burst out in laughter and had to hold onto Tommy so she wouldn't fall over. Lia then realized she had never laughed this hard in her life. She smiled at how easy tommy made her happy. After collecting themselves they were able to continue walking.
It was a 20 minute walk to Tommy's house and they laughed and talked the hole time. The way that they talked to each other was incredible. They laughed at each other's comments on things, gossiped about the newest Twitter drama and playing tag while walking. Basically everyone who sees the two would think they are childhood best friends.
Upon arriving at Tommy's house he asked her something wired.
"Can you stay here for a minute while I ask my dad if you can come over?" Tommy asked kindly.
"Yeah of course!" She said with A smile. He returned the smile and started to run over to his house.
"When Tommy got to his driveway he saw his father getting ready to leave for his "business" trip which Tommy knew was really a week long vacation when he goes to see friends. Tommy lightly tapped on his father's shoulder.
"Father can I ask you something?" he asked politely. His father jumped at the sudden noise and spun around to slap Tommy. Tommy fell backwards but caught himself before he hit the ground.
"Don't scare me again you fucking child!" He boomed, Tommy coward in front if his dad.
"S-sorry I will never again sir" he said shyly. Suddenly Tommy got a kick to the but.
"Don't cower!" He said in an angry tone and Tommy stood up strait
"Can I have a friend over for a night or 2" Tommy asked politely.
"Whatever, just clean the house!" And with that he stomped to his car and drove away. Tommy ran back towards Lia and told her the good news. After having another mini celebration they began to walk towards Tommy's front door.
"By the way ignore the mess we can go to my room it is decently clean" Tommy said, And Lia nodded in response. Tommy opened the door and Lia couldn't believe her eyes. There was beer bottles all over the table and broken glass on the far side of the room. She noticed some of the broken glass had a bit of blood on it. She shuddered at the sight of a knife almost out of view, it had small amounts of blood on the sides and end. Tommy tapped her on the shoulder motioning for her to follow him. She gladly accepted and they walked towards the stairs. While climbing the stairs Lia turned to Tommy
"Umm, Tommy... who's blood was that?" She asked Cautiously.
"Oh...it's mine, but don't worry that's normal, and my dad won't be home for a week so we are all good" tommy smiled some how. Lia was a little sad that Tommy thought that this stuff was normal but she decided not to press the topic. As they entered Tommy's room there is a double side bed an the right corner of the room and across the room was an amazing gaming setup consisting of 3 monitors, a pc, a camera, a microphone, head phones and a gaming chair.
"Wow!" Lia exclaimed while entering the room. Tommy chuckled at her Excitement.
"How did you get this big of a setup?" She asked
"I just saved up" Tommy said
"What do you use it for?" Lia asked curiously.
"To stream and play games" he said happily
"Wow you stream, I've always wanted too" she exclaimed
"I started in hopes that I could make money to help pay the bills but now it is just a really fun thing to do" he explained happily. After talking about streaming a little bit longer Tommy checked his watch.
"It's already 7:30 we should get something to eat" Tommy said. Lia nodded in response. Even though she barely eats she needs at least a meal a day to survive. After some debating they settled on ordering in McDonald's.
when the food came they laughed and joked the hole time. But one thing kept ringing in Lia's head
"Don't worry it's normal"
