"It's official, Yua. I'm quitting, this instance. In fact, I'm leaving the city, I'm going to live in a cabin deep in the woods, never to be seen by society again." You toss your stuff in your office and repeatedly hit your forehead into the doorway.
"What are you talking about, [y/n]?" You set your head on the door frame and look over at her.
"So, remember how I said that eventually I wanted to get a reading on All Might?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, I was talking to Midnight when I saw All Might come in from his class with 1-A. And I mentioned to her that I was hoping I could find a really natural way to talk to him so I could get a reading and she was like, oh! Let me just introduce you! And before I could say anything, she shoved me right in front of him and I had no chance to prepare myself or anything"
"Did you get the reading?"
"Wha-oh, yeah, all I needed was to get close enough. No ill intentions, strong spirit, truly cares for humanity, as expected. But that's not the point, the point is that I could barely get any words out. I was so nervous."
"Girl..that's it?" You were looking down at your feet wondering how it's gonna look in hiking boots, seeing as you're gonna live deep in the woods for the rest of your life. You sigh.
"No..that's not it. The students he was teaching earlier were just behind him so since I technically got what I needed, I excused myself and turned to leave as quickly as possible. But I guess I tripped on myself or something cause I fell and landed right on Aizawa who was just walking around the corner. Everyone laughed, and Aizawa was just like 'Ms. [L/N] I'm flattered but we're at school, you can't just throw yourself at me. There are children looking.'" Yua burst out laughing. The list Principal Nezu set for you was to keep yourself from harming students. But he never said anything about adults, and you had half a mind to use it on Yua.
"Girl, girl, I'm sorry. I really am, but you have to admit that's funny." She continues laughing. You smile a bit, she was right. If someone had told you that story you might've laughed too, but your cheeks still burned with embarrassment, especially after what Aizawa said.
"Are you done?" You say as her laughter dies down. She wipes a couple tears from her eyes.
"Yeah, I think I'm done." She takes a deep breath. "So, Aizawa said something spicy, huh? I wouldn't take him for the one to make those remarks out loud." You finally peel yourself off the doorway and walk over to the counter in front of her desk, putting both your arms on it and resting your head on them.
"It wasn't out loud, it was barely a whisper. Right in my ear. Well, he said my name out loud cause he was surprised but that last bit at the end so quietly. Only I could hear while everyone else laughed." You got a similar shiver down your body as when he said that. You also can't quite wrap your head around it, maybe you made it up. Yua stopped what she was doing and looked at you.
"Ok, that's hot."
"Right?? I almost don't believe it!"
"I told you it was going to work out between you two. Now the ball is in your court, what's your next move?" You thought for a second. You could be a mature adult and just ask him out for a drink or something. Or you could see if you could get him to ask you out.
"Y'know Yua. I'm gonna try and get him to ask me on a date!" You smile confidently.
"Alright then, this'll be interesting."

A/N: Ok, so the next chapters are going to line up with the break in before and the USJ incident itself. I dunno if you could tell but the story loosely follows the actual timeline of the anime, it's literally like following the life of a staff member at UA. Drop a comment if you like it so far!
