You're typing on your computer when you hear a soft knock on the door.
"Come in!" You say, not looking up from your computer.
"Um, hello, Ms. [L/N]." A nervous green-haired boy says. You look up and he shifts awkwardly.
"Mr. Midorya! Please! Come take a seat!" He settles down as you turn your background music down almost all the way, just loud enough to fill any awkward silences throughout the session.
"I was told that I had to come in earlier because of my screaming match with Kacch- I mean, Katsuki." You smile warmly.
"You can call him Kacchan if that's more comfortable. But, yes, you were originally scheduled for later this week but I asked for you to come in earlier because of something I noticed while settling you all down." Like clockwork, there was another knock on the door.
"Ms [L/N], it's All Might, can I come in?"
"Yes sir, you may!" Midorya froze, you snuck a glance over at him as All Might made his way in and settled himself in the seat next to him. He was nervous, you bet his mind was running a million miles an hour.
"Well, now that we're all here. While I was in your class, I used my quirk to calm you all down, just enough so you could listen to what I had to say. That's just one part of my quirk, the other part allows me to see auras. The auras of most people allow me to see their intentions, sometimes what kind of person they are and a persons aura is usually similar to someone they're related to, someone with similar DNA." A drop of sweat runs down the side of his head, you're getting dangerously close to the truth and he's more than likely thinking of a way to talk you out of any accusations you might throw at him.
"After getting a reading on your aura, I had a discussion with Mr All Might, and I know about your secret, Mr Midoriya." He looked back and forth between the both of you. All Might nodded in assurance.
"It is not anything that we could've planned for, young Midoriya. People all over the world have quirks that could expose the truth of One for All, and we wouldn't even know it. Thankfully, Ms [L/N] is on our side and has agreed to teach us how to hide our auras completely."
"Something like that," you stepped in, "it's more like masking, bringing out another part of your aura more than others so the connection isn't as obvious. It's not something you need to devote your whole life to. I probably am the only one who can see your auras anyway, but I'm sure neither of you want to take that chance." You pause for a moment to let him process all of this. "Is that alright with you?" You ask softly, letting him take his time to respond.
"Yes, it is. So does this mean that instead of counseling we'll be doing this training?" You shake your head.
"Nope. You'll come in for your session, and the last 5-10 minutes, I'll be teaching you some techniques that'll help. If All Might has the time, he can drop in to learn a couple tricks as well, but only at the end. This time is for you to get everything off your chest." He nodded his head.
"There's a lot to learn when it comes to this quirk, young Midoriya. Mental health is equally important as physical health, it's always good to have someone to talk to. And I think you're fortunate enough to have Ms. [L/N] on your side." Your cheeks burn a little as you smile at them. You don't care for a relationship or anything with All Might, but you are so going to rub this in Yua's face later.
"Alright. Well, I just wanted All Might here for when I explained what I figured out but now he can leave. We'll start the training next session." You shoo All Might out and look over at the student as the door closes. He looks a lot more relaxed than when he first walked in. You lean back in your chair and intertwine your fingers over your stomach.
"So..where you do you wanna start?"
